J&B is a RARE FIND– stand up guys doing good work at a respectable price. They do the work the right way at nothing but reasonable costs. I have since moved away from the area and I can call Bob and he will tell me how much I should pay for service out of state. This means he is taking time out of his day JUST to do me a favor, knowing full well he is not going to get any money out of it and potentially turning business away. J&B has serviced all of our family cars. When there is work that doesn’t NEED to be done (i.e. if the car can be driven safely without making the fixes), J&B will happily not do the work. They will inform you about the situation and present you with options, but they won’t take advantage of you or make you pay for unnecessary service. They keep my car running without taking me to the cleaners. Since I basically trust my life to these guys, and they have proven good to me time and time again, I really can’t say enough about how highly I recommend their service.
