This is the factory store for the Magic Scarf located in downtown Gloucester. I’m pretty sure that they are not always open to the public. Every now and then though they have sidewalk sales (from the parking lot). You can get some great buys at these sales. I always make a point to try and check them out.
The location is pretty easy to find. It’s somewhat isolated since it is the factory location, but it’s not so hard to find that you’ll be totally lost; besides, I think most people know to mapquest or have GPS anyway. Prices, of course, are much lower than inside the regular shop. And, you can find some pretty cool items.
The few times that I have gone, the sales have been very busy. Lots and lots of people– many of them going for the same bin that you’re headed for. So, if you don’t like a crowd this may not be for you. Otherwise, it’s a lot of fun. I wish they held these sales more often!
