Family owned for over a decade, the pizza joint is my go to for pizza in the area! Awesome wings and pizza!

Every thing we have had has been consistently delicious. Pizza, salad, grinders have all been great and decent delivery time.

The pizza joint was a major disappointment. We ordered boneless wings, a small salad, and two pieces of broccoli pizza. All of these items totaled to about $ 18. To my surprise when we sat down we looked over to the counter and noticed that there was a special for one 18″ pizza with one topping, a dozen wings, and a bottle of soda… for $ 18. I was baffled with the fact that none of the workers offered the special to us. The pizza was average(very oily), the wings were over done, and my salad was just pitiful. My salad was complete with iceberg lettuce, three small pieces of tomato, and a half of a white onion. We will not be going back!

Sold pizza for reasonable prices. One of the two go-to places for my in-laws. Have not tried much other than the pizza. Good stuff!

I’m not from Gloversville, and this being the first pizza I’ve tried here, I don’t know where the bar for you guys is set, but this place rocks! They weren’t serving slices anymore when I wandered in around 10pm(an hour before close), but the guy leaned over his shoulder and yelled, «hey, feel like making a slice pizza?» and magic was created — for $ 1.75 a slice! In Portland these days, it is almost impossible to find a slice for under $ 3. My pizza was made and served by a girl who was sweet as pie. I normally like my crust really thin, but this scrumptious high-gluten crust has to carry the weight of extra sauce, rich with herbs and spices, dripping with cheese, and blanketed with pepperoni. Kapow! Sitting on a red chair at a red table on a black and white checked floor, listening to good music, the ambiance esthetically matched my slices. I’ll be back, but first I need to see how the other places in Gloversville match up.

Before leaving Gloversville, I decided to check out Pizza Joint, which is located in the downtown area along Main Street. This pizza shop is very cozy inside which is an order at the counter place and there are a few small tables next to the storefront windows. Before ordering some food, I was intent on ordering a calzone and a sub) with an Entertainment coupon, but I was informed that they do not accept the coupons because it was published in the 2012 book without the consent of the business. I instead decided to order a 12″ Eggplant Pizza($ 7.95 plus tax), which is still a fairly reasonable price without a coupon. The pizza was ready to go in about 15 minutes. This pizza came out very well, which had the right amount of tomato sauce, cheese, and thin crisp pieces of eggplant, parmesan cheese was sprinkled onto the pizza before boxing up. The thin crust was firm, yet soft and not dry inside and the round thicker edges(with cheese baked on outside) was crisp outside. I enjoyed this tasty eggplant pizza with some cold ones while watching Sunday football.

It feels like there are a million pizza places in the Gloversville/Johnstown area but I tend to go to the Pizza Joint more often than not. They make a good pizza. Each ingredient is nicely made and comes together to make a yummy pizza. The prices are good and they are quite speedy. You an buy by the slice or pie. They also sell the regular stuff like wings and drinks. The shop is very small and tends to run a bit hot so I advise take out or delivery.

We tried this out on my new mission to try all pizza and every restaurant in my local area. Delivery was faster then some. The pizza was pretty good, better fresh though, not one of those pizzas that is still fabulous as leftovers. We also had to try the zeppolis because I saw small fried dough squares with sugar & cinnamon on the menu and needed to eat them. I was expecting a small container of them and got a large take out container full of them. There were too many and they were never ending. We would eat and it would still be full of the little multiplying zeppolis. Even though they were tasty I was a little disappointed, the sugar was a bit clumpy from the grease and because of the sugar I could not blot any grease in my attempt to pretend I was being healthy whilst eating this. For this I give them 3 stars though I would rather give them 3.5.
