Love love love their burgers, chicken strips, and milkshakes! One of the few places that’s not mainstream fast food between snohomish and Stevens pass where you can fill two people up for well under $ 20, the deep fried mushrooms are great as well. Oh and the rueben is amaaaazing

Delicious! The special order is ginormous. The fries came piping hot with the order. We had the cheeseburger and hamburger order. Both were melt in your mouth and gone in minutes. The only cons I have: — fries were delicious, but had no salt. I suppose we have to do that ourselves? — prices are quite steep. $ 20 for 2 burgers, fries, and a small drink. But, I’m glad our first time experience was great so it wasn’t too bad. Definitely filling and satisfying after a long ski day. PROTIP: get your soda without ice. It’s $ 1.20 for a dinky small size. Cup was filled with ice and there was actually half of soda to drink. When you’re stuffing yourself with a delicious burger and piping hot fries… You don’t give two whacks about ice. You want more soda! Sorry, inner-fat kid in me coming out.

This place has really good«fast» food and excellent shakes! The menu has a large variety including elk burgers. Great place to stop on your way home from a trip/hike in the mountains.

The food was great drive-in fare. Lots of unusual flavors of milkshakes, which was fun. The outdoor seating area was good, but it would have been nice if they had ketchup on the tables rather than having to go ask. It was expensive for fast food, though, which will prevent me from going regularly.

The elk burger is a great meal after that grueling hike to Lake Serene! And their milkshakes are super thick. Setting reminded me of drive-ins in my hometown back in PA. I’ll hopefully be back soon!

The chicken strips were the worst I’ve ever had! They were chewy and had globs of some kind of orange colored filler inside.

I was torn between the mushroom Swiss and the elk burger deluxe. The worker was nice and made it easy and said I could order the elk with mushroom added. With a side of large fries dipped in their ranch it was exactly what I wanted after hiking for miles around lake serene all day. I would recommend anyone leaving the hiking trails to come here it was worth it. It was only $ 13 for everything!

The food is terrible. Stopped for dinner on the way back from Wenatchee. Dinner was $ 68 for two adults and three kids. Which is fine if… The burgers don’t taste microwaved… If the fries aren’t overcooked and taste like fish sticks. The covered eating area was disgusting, your feet stick to the floor as you walk to any table. It wasn’t a sticky spot, it was the whole floor. Years back the food was decent and we would periodically stop, never again. The quality has declined slowly over the years and is now to the point that we will no longer visit.

The elk burger was perfection(add mushrooms!) I HIGHLY recommend getting a peanut butter — banana milk shake. Zeke’s is nothing short of a revelation, especially after a day of hiking.

We love Zeek’s as a Cascade Mountains icon that skiers and mountain lovers know about, and treasure! The burger was great, and the facility iconic as always.

Yum! Just what we were looking for on our way down the mountain from Steven’s Pass– a juicy burger and some crispy fries. While it’s a drive through, they have a warm seating in the area in the back with six picnic tables. A great place to stop for a burger!

I used to live across the street from here and really enjoy their food. Their burgers are decent in size and full of flavor. They also give you a fair amount of fries. They have not only a few tables to sit outside but a covered canopy too.

If I reviewed this place last year I’d say a 2– fries seemed like bland, bulk purchased freezer bag of fries and the burger was nothing to write home about. This year the fries were crispy and seemed as if they were fresh cut and the cheese burger with everything on it plus bacon totally hit the spot! Oh and those onion rings, delish! Not sure what was going on last year, the first time in a decade(been going once a year for years on our way to camp at Lake Wenatchee) and last year was the first time I recall it being ‘meh.’ Stopping this year restored my excitement to keep the tradition going!

Great serving sizes — you definitely won’t go away hungry. I was pleased to find my Reuben done just right & loaded with beef! This is a great stop on the way home from hiking, skiing at the Pass, or just exploring.

I remember liking Zeke’s, years ago. We recently bought a cabin up in Baring and have tried Zeke’s three different times in the last six months. I am writing this review because I truly want to warn everybody how horrible this place has become. Great location so I assume they think they can do whatever they want and people will still stop, but that is what Unilocal is for, to spread the word. First off the burger patty is THIN. The fries are run of the mill, crinkle cut, from the freezer to the fryer boring and dry. The onion rings are tasteless. So I gave up on the cheeseburger. Next time I tried the fish and chips. Two large portions of fish is the good news. Bad news, again, no flavor at all! The breading was soggy and the fish was mealy. My husband threw his away. Three orders of fish and chips, two milkshakes and an order of onion rings= $ 48. Pretty spendy for a meal that was so gross someone threw their portion away. Bottom line: Stop at La Hacienda in Gold Bar or even the Skykomish Deli for a quick sandwich. Do not give Zeke’s your business, they don’t deserve it!

This is to much money for fast food 4 people that had cheesburgers and fries was $ 49.00 a bit much for a cheeseburger. Although if ya stop just get a milkshake not bad they are very good. This is your Hwy2 high prices scenic byway…

I really did not appreciate Zeke’s cheeseburger. It had some strange sauce on it and the burger was extremely thin. Zeke’s isn’t all bad though: the french fries were good, and the location is nice and far away from Seattle. The best part of my experience here was that I was there in the late afternoon, on a Sunday, in July, and the traffic heading back to Seattle was backed up all the way to this place. I ate Zeke’s strange tasting Cheeseburger, then began a roadtrip east to Leavenworth, down Hwy 97 to I-90, then back to Seattle in a big long loop. Yes it took 3 hours but at least I was driving for 3 hours instead of sitting in stop-n-go traffic for the same amount of time. Thanks to Zeke’s I wasn’t hungry on the extended drive. If you’re hungry on this stretch of Route 2, I recommend driving to Skykomish to get a burger at the Cascadia Inn.

Wow, this place is a great stop if you are traveling to or from Stevens Pass. We always stop here for our travel grub and really enjoy the stop. The burgers are good size and flavorful, the fries are hot and plentiful, and my daughters fish and chips had to be hand dipped(plus the amount of fish could have fed two 12 year olds). Always make a point to stop here when you are on highway 2.

I agree 100% with Melvin D. I remember stopping at this place WAY back in the day(childhood) and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. My boyfriend and I drive HWY2 on occasion to go to Wenatchee and I always told him how good this place was and that I need to take him there sometime. Well that sometime was this weekend. Traffic was HORRENDOUS, stop and go all the way to gold bar UGH. So we stopped to get some food here. We made it right before the rush thankfully. I got the cheeseburger basket which was way overpriced! I paid $ 18 for 2 cheeseburger baskets! The cheeseburger was plain and tasteless. The patty is about as thin as a piece of paper and the cheese I swear was just the rubbery kraft single slices. I was pretty sad it wasnt as good as I remember… the fries on the other hand were hott, fresh and delicious! The grounds are nice though to stop and rest at and stretch your legs.

More burgers! But wait a tick, ELK? Like the C. canadensis species?(Totally Googled that). Heck yeah, I’m game!(bad pun intended). Located on the side of the highway/main road, Zeke’s Drive«Inn» is a step above regular drive-thrus and dare I say it, even Dick’s. There’s ample parking spaces and you saunter up to the counter to try and figure out if you want a hot dog, giant cheeseburger, chili cheese fries, 1 of over a dozen varieties of shakes or as previously mentioned, an ELKBURGER. Which by the way, was pretty tasty although I couldn’t really pinpoint a big difference between that and regular ground beef. The service is old-school from orders scribbled on paper and sent through the metal whirly thing and the short-order cook promptly dumping fresh French fries to sizzle its way to fried goodness. They offer up giant canisters of Johnny’s Seasoning and garlic salt at the pick-up counter which actually, you might need for the chili cheese fries. They were hearty but disappointingly bland which was a bummer. I might bump them up a star next time I’m on my way to hit the slopes as long as I get one of their milkshakes in me. They looked amazing and even had flavors like gingerbread and pumpkin, all made with real ingredients. Other pluses: Clean separate gender bathrooms with plumbing, outdoor seating area for summertime and they take cards.
