Amusement Park at Heritage Square

Fun and inexpensive place for young kids. Sad they are closing the alpine slide which is the best ride there.

Great fun for younger kids. — would be even better if the price of the food wasn’t so high, and they worked together on the slide and mine shaft concessions.

I went to Heritage Amusement Park and had a blast. We only were able to do 4 things because it started to rain.
First of we went to the go carts. My dad drove the 2 person go cart, because I wasn’t able to drive my own. But, I still could drive the Jr. go carts. For the Jr. go carts track is that it is the same track as the slick go carts. So you have to wait somewhat longer. Each go cart turn is about 4 minutes. Overall it was awesome!
After go carting we went on the zip line. The zip line was somewhat short. Also the zip line goes over the paddle boats and bumper boats. At the end of the zip line is that their is this brake that bushes you bake then makes you bounce in the sand pit. To get to the top of the zip line you had to climb up this little staircase. It was a fun ride though.
Then we did the bumper boats. The bumper boats are a little hard to get in and out of. I was the first boat to get out in to the water. Sometimes the boat is hard to control. Just to tell you that usually are whet, and you come out with wet pants. Then sometimes if you get lucky you wont get splashed. I mostly splashed other people. If you have young children their is life vests and you can fit 1 to 3 people in a seat. I could tell that me and everyone else and had a great time.
Next we went on a sleigh ride. You might think it’s a baby ride, but it’s not. You go in this circle that goes up and down. They have a handle bar to hold on to because your going really fast. But when you thought going forward while going fast is bad they stop you when you think the ride is over with but its not. You start going backwards really fast. To me it felt like a thrill and also pure torture, but it was also somewhat fun.
Overall all the stuff I did was really fun. A lot of the people were nice. (We were not able to do everything because they got rained out.)

We went to this place on a Tuesday and got a deal. It wasn’t too crowded and was very laid back. We went on the go karts, the zip line, some spinny get-​yourself-​dizzy ride, and a tiny little roller coaster. All the things were really fun, and we enjoyed the go karts so much I think we went on them about seven times! Overall, this is a great place to go if you have young and old kids. There’s something here for everyone. If you’ve ever heard of Kiddy Land, this is a step up.
