I tried this salon a few weeks ago, based on other Unilocal reviews. I’m glad I did! Brittany did a very good job styling my short, naturally curly hair. She listened to what I wanted and worked with how my goofy hair grows this way & that. It’s looking great, and so I’ll be back. My husband also tried a cut with Brittany, and is also quite pleased. Great! Thanks!

I go to April’s anytime I need my hair cut or colored and have been going to her for years. April is very talented and gives you exactly what you ask for. So, even though I live in Denver and had to drive a ways to get to her, I wanted to use her for doing my hair for my wedding. April was on vacation, but she set me up with another stylist-​Lori-​who did an amazing job! I got more compliments on my hair than anything else. I have fairly short, very thin hair but Lori made it look long and beautiful in an up-​do with flowers. I would recommend April’s Salon to anyone for anything-​from special occasions to everyday cuts and colors.

I was very torn as to weather or not to give a 4 or 5 star review, because I haven’t had my hair cut twice here yet. I decided to err on the side of optimism because with prices this great ($ 20 for a women’s hair cut), It’s hard to go wrong!
This salon is a part of a house. If you’re walking in from Jackson, use the front door. There’s adequate signage to find it easily. The entry way has a front desk and professional hair care products. There are two or three seats available if you have a wait. There are two hairdressers and two chairs. Each provides you with a personal touch. I had a great chat with the hairdresser and she gave me exactly what I was looking for! That’s hard to find :).
