Golden Community Center

Great facility, great staff and a true community center. I visit the GCC regularly to swim. The pool is great. Actually there are two pools. A lap pool and a zero entry pool with a small slide, a large slide and fountains. The lap pool temp is perfect. The zero entry pool is warmer — perfect for kids. I also attend various community meetings at GCC. And we have had our own special events there. Thank you GCC!

Went to the Golden Community Center because our Wheat Ridge Center was closed this week for deep cleaning. The facility is very nice, the machines are awesome and there are a lot of them, and the people there are incredibly friendly. I was going to try and take a class but the instructor was out and her replacement never showed. Thankfully there was a really nice guy named James who usually took the class that offered to teach it!

I got married on very short notice. (planned in less than a month) We were planning on doing something outdoors, but wanted a nice inexpensive place to eat and enjoy time with out guests. We choose Golden for its beautiful views, and we just happened to stop in to the community center while checking out Lions park. I was glad we did they had some beautiful ball rooms. I only used a small one, but WOW. The views were amazing. Well it ended up snowing on my May wedding… This place was so accomodating allowing us to come in early and use the facility hours before we had scheduled. They put up signs for our guests, they came by and helped out often and helped us decorate the room so we could work around the weather. I have NEVER known a place to be so awesome and accomodating. They made my day great! I want to move to Golden so I can use this place more.
There’s water slides that the kids can run energy off on for 5 dollars a kiddo too. I couldn’t believe how inexpensive this place was for everything they did and the staff is top notch! GREAT JOB GOLDEN!!!

I am rating the music classes with Miss Stephanie. I took both of my babies (now 1 and 4) to her baby and toddler classes and was extremely happy. Miss Stephanie is talented, welcoming, and compassionate towards families with young children. Her class has a wonderful flow and she has fun, beautiful song choices throughout. The babies bounce, shake maracas, get tickled, laugh, and learn. They get to strum the guitar at the end and play on the big drum (baby class). I highly recommend this class to others!
