Guido’s Pizza

I was in the other day and while placing my order one of the employees is talking very loud and saying the f word every sentence. The food is really bad. My pizza tasted like middle school cafateria pizza simply awful. Cheap ingredients. This kid swearing was complaining about another employee not being able to get in for his shift and he said if so and so doesn’t come in no one is going to like working with me next week. Dude i hate to break it to you but i was around you for five minutes and i wanted to kill myself. He would go from swearing one second to can i help you the next. I felt so uncomfortable and wanted to go but i already paid for this shit food. I will never go back. And let me just say i like to swear i do it often but i know when not to and while working and having customers present swearing is unexcusable. This person was the the type of person that if i had said something he would have gotten mad and after i left talked about what a asshole i am. I truely have no faith left in humanity as a whole and am not going to have children because of people like this guy are out numbering respectful people like me. If i owned this pizza shop i would fire everyone and start over because tbis place does nothing right Worst food ive ever had as well. And i say that whole heartedly. It tasted dirty not just ingredients i didnt like but like dirty like someone used their ball sweat to make the dough and sauce. How doni rate them lower than one star. So bad and this kid needs to be fired. To threaten coworkers with future negative behavior bc your mad about someone elses actions is pathetic. Learn to be a adult and be professional. Just at work not all the time but damn.

Great pizza and calzones. Typically a long wait. They don’t take credit cards.

This is my favorite pizza place in the world. Cash only. Cheap beer great slices, sandwiches, and overall food. Local pizza joint and its run that way. Characters behind the bar and they’ll buy you a beer. One of the best places for food in the area. Any time I’m down here I eat here. The best!

The sign said «Best Pizza in the West,» so expectations were high going in. Hot damn, they lived up to it. My boyfriend and I went two days ago, and we are still talking about how good the pizza was. The crust was crisp and strong – it held up and didn’t flop over like a lot of NY style pizza. Our only disappointment is that we don’t live nearby to be able to go back.

Really good pizza, but inconvenient that they don’t accept credit cards. We’d also give them more business if they did. Great to have a neighborhood pizza location and always enjoy the crispy crust and delicious toppings. Employees have always been super nice to us.

Owner was combative and argumentative. Would not honor
promotion that the only for them to be listed was for the owner to sign up for it. Yelled at my friend, my boyfriend, and I, in a way that I haven’t seen since leaving the NY/​NJ area. Would not return because the owner is obviously someone who doesn’t care about clients or customer service. If you want GREAT pizza go to High Country Pizza in Kittredge and you’ll get amazing pizza with friendly smiles and service.

This place used to be great. I work a simple 5 minute walk from the place. Our office does a lot of business with them, but after today I will never go back. We showed up and it was busy as i70 was closed so we know it would be a wait. We ordered a beer and a total of 5 slices 3 sausage and 2 pepperoni. We know it would be a wait, but it took 50 min to get the pepperoni. And it took almost 90 to get the sausage. People in front of us were getting pies and slices. Finally when I asked the guy working he was a jerk. Saying maybe maybe not you will have you slices. Horrible service. They had a bunch of people screwing off behind the counter, not even close to being sanitary. Apparently if you know the guys working you get great and speedy service. I will be communicating to the office that they do not go anymore. I will drive 20 min to golden to get a great slice with better service. Horrible place. Also if the owner reads this, take credit cards every place takes them.

Staff was laid back, a little too laid back because after waiting 20 mins for them to reheat 3 pieces of pizza they forgot the order. Staff seemed to be focused on entertaining themselves then serving up some awesome pizza.

Dude get the white and red sauce together on your pizza! It’s delicious! Love this place

A coworker and I decided to split a cheese pizza from here, it was very good but they overcooked it. When I called to tell them they were rude and didn’t believe me and they said to bring it back. We weren’t really trying to get anything out of it plus we had already eaten more than half and were at work on our lunch break. I’m not the type of person that holds a grudge so I will definitely try it again and review again.

PIZZA WAS AWFUL.
So much grease when I held my slice up it dripped off. Pizza was soft and had no crunch to it. But what made the experience worse was the staff. Bunch of idiot stoners. Saw the guys cooking the pizza touching his face scratching his ass then putting his hands back on my pizza. Cashiers hands were black and they all do any jobs that need to be done to complete the pie. Never once did I see them wash there hands. The all talk in «stoner talk.»

We had a HORRIBLE experience. We ordered a pizza and asked to have chicken on a white pizza with pesto, sundried tomatoes and kalmata olives on a TO GO basis. We got home and opened the box and was horrified to find fried chicken on the pizza with barely any other toppings and no pesto. So, I called and simply asked that they make it right the next time we came in and in lieu of doing that, I got passed to another young man who was supposedly the manager who proceeds to tell me that they only have fried chicken so that’s all they had to put on it. I pointed out that it might have been smart to tell us this instead of paying lots of money for a GREASY pizza. He remained indifferent and told us «well we’re a small business and can’t afford to give things away» … This is horrific customer service and it will make me never do business with Guidos again because there are too many other good businesses that understand the importance of keeping customers happy.

Best pizza we have ever had! Stopped on a whim before heading to Winter park and this meal was the best part of the trip! Going to stop again on our way back. Our family tried New York style «the boss» and New York style sausage and cheese. Everything was perfect. We sat out back on the patio to enjoy the scenery/​outdoors. Hats off to the great customer service, they only except cash and we had a large bill which was difficult to break but they handled it well by going above and beyond by helping us break it from store next door. Thank you for a great experience!

Great New York style pizza. Boys enjoyed the Philly Cheese Steak, the club and the French Dip… all great. I recommend the New York style Hawaiian with jalapeños.

Our favorite pizza joint. Great sauce and yummy Greek salad. The waitress is the worst, but the guys cooking and owners are awesome!

Guns n roses playin and subs and pizza flowing. Comfortable casual local pizza joint. Guys working were super cool. NO CREDIT CARDS.

Wow! Fantastic Pies! Huge and loaded with toppings. This place certainly honors Guido. The pies are huge and the crust is cooked to perfection. True New York style Pizza. By the slice or a whole pie, you are sure to love your order. The calzone and cheese bread are also worth checking out. Draft and bottle beer will surely satisfy. Anywhere with Shock Top on draft is surely worth that extra mile. The service is great! Great music selections and fun local Colorado atmosphere. Only downside is they are cash only. But never fear, they have an ATM onsite to get you on your taste buds on their way to heaven. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did. Great job Guido!

Every pizza I’ve had here has been good. They are timely when we order several at work (nearby).
The staff is always friendly. They are clearly familiar with the locals but don’t make you feel like an outsider.
If they accepted credit cards, they’d get a lot more business from me and our company.
