This is such a great place to get out of the city for a little bit! Geared toward someone who has been wanting to ride a horse, even for the first time, with confidence but enough challenging terrain to tingle your sense of adventure.
They have the right horse for everyone and are wonderful at matching horse and rider.
It’s a small Colorado operation and welcome you and your support. Check them out and have a great time!

We just got back from a one hour ride at Pine Cliff Stables and i twas definitely a highlight of our time in Colorado. My 8 year old really wanted to ride, but she was terrified. They were WONDERFUL! Got her a very gentle horse (Gypsy) and gave her time to get used to being near the horse. The owner had the guide hold the rope to lead Gypsy for the entire ride so she could relax and enjoy it. The ride itself was gorgeous — a wonderful way to see the beauty of Colorado.

The guy is the epitome of a cowboy. He knows how to treat a first time rider and so do his horses. It was a great experience and he has a great price. I was fully satisfied. Thanks!

Thoroughly enjoyed this trail ride! The trail guide was polite, down to earth and laid back, the way a cowboy should be. He went as far as saying «Yes, Ma’am» and the like. Now normally, I would cringe at someone calling me ma’am but it was too adorable to resist. My daughter was entertained by the guide putting her on her horse backwards, and him riding in his own saddle backwards for part of the ride as he talked to us, pointing out wildlife along the trail and little facts about the area. The most shocking part about this fantastic time was the incredible deal! BEST place for a good time, and the BEST place for your money. Horses are well-taken care of, staff is personable and this is definitely a new family tradition with this stable for us. Highly recommend if you have family or friends in town and want an «authentic» Colorado experience.
