Just a quick note about this salon in the Evergreen WalMart. I was treated rather rudely, sent to another location ended up back at this location and treated even worse but I needed a haircut before my son graduated in two days — so I waited about 45 minutes with no one else waiting. I live in a remote area of the mountains so I really had no other choice at that time. The next morning, wondering how I was going to fix the uncaring haircut that I received just the day before from the inconsiderate stylist — I got an email from SmartStyle asking about my experience. I told them in a polite way,(after all, it was a $ 10.00 haircut), what had happened. Not only did the district manager respond within an hour of my bad review, they extended me a free color and an offer for their top stylist to fix the haircut and give me the color of choice free of charge, at my convenience. I gladly accepted and it turned out beautifully. You know everyone has a bad day but I wasn’t the only one that this lady was treating poorly and it was apparent that she was in desperate need of some customer service training. I was glad that they didn’t fire her, because I wasn’t the first to complain, but instead they are helping her improve her customer service skills. Thank you, Terrye L.

Been going here for about 3 years. Just got another cut and perm today. My stylist is Carissa, has been the whole time. Now most salons are about the same… they have stylists and they sell product… same with SmartStyle. BUT, why do you return to a place? Because of the stylist! She really is a lovely girl. And SmartStyle is fair in their pricing of services I think.
