Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta

I had never had my eyebrows done professionally before until I started going to Natalia at the recommendation of my house-​mate. Although they accept walk-​ins as time permits, I always make an appointment before heading in. Only 4 out of 5 stars due to the fact that the appointments sometimes run over and I’ve had to wander the store waiting for up to 30 minutes past my appointment time. Usually it’s no more than 5 – 10 minutes though. Natalia is friendly, polite, professional and takes time to listen to what you want. My brows are on-​point every time I see her now!

overall experience was great! Natalia, eyebrow specialist, was very kind and shaped my eyebrows to how I wanted them. All I did was showed her a picture. she even gave me a free lesson on how to use the brow zings I bought there! will come back

Walked right up with no appointment! The girl who did my eyebrows was very nice. Showed her a picture of what I wanted and she explained the steps of what she was going to do and what areas I should grow out. Planning on going back soon!

One star for Nay, who was sweet. We had to stand and wait for almost 5 minutes before we were acknowledged (and we had an appointment!) then, the workspace she sat me at was DIRTY, (while there was a sanitized space already prepped directly across from me-​complete with a sign stating it) the wax she used wasn’t warm enough and she had to really work to spread it and push hard-​it hurt. I had to ask her two times to take more off one brow, as it was not the same shape/​thickness as the other… and unlike the Benefit Bar at Macy’s she didn’t do anything to cover the redness, just said «take this to the cashier, thanks». I was disappointed, and won’t be back. I’m sorry I tipped, but when I said no to the cashier asking me about tipping, both cashiers gasped out loud and made a bit of a fuss. My experience at the Benefit Bar at Macy’s is super pampering and welcoming, very clean and tidy-​a great deal of care with their merchandising… Ulta was cluttered and the Benefit Bar at Ulta was gross, messy and unorganized.
I do NOT RECOMMEND! Yuck. And my left brow is still thicker, with no discernible shaping.

This is the only place i will go for eye brows. Natasha really listens to you and takes her time until they are perfect.

The price is a little overpriced plus they expect a tip at the cashier or the cashier gives you attitude if you don’t leave one. But they do a pretty good job on eyebrows, they wax them, trim them, then fill them in for you. Nay and Natalie are really amazing at doing their job!

I’ve had such an awesome experience here and will definitely be going back. I get a simple eyebrow wax but I absolutely LOVE the way they turned out!
