Mom and pop’s brunch place with very fair prices and huge portions! The complimentary salsas were perfect, esp the spicy one! Their Mexican dishes are definitely more popular and I can see why! The rice and beans with cheese was SOOO good!!! It was about $ 4 for the side. My friends got the breakfast burrito and its monstrous! They couldnt even finish half! I got the egg, biscuits and gravy special. It was not good. The biscuits and gravy was cold when it came out. I would come again but probably try their enchiladas! I saw a lot of people get that and it looks amazing!

I came here with my roommates after hearing all the good things one of them had to say about this café. I wasn’t disappointed. We had a puppy with us and unfortunately, there’s no outdoor seating here, so we ordered our food to go. We waited in the car and the hostess was nice enough to bring the food out to our car. I got an omelette, and the other girls got the ground beef enchiladas and huevos rancheros. All of the food was really good. I will definitely be back to try out more of the dishes!

Hands down best place for breakfast, the prices are a little high but the portions and quality of the food is worth it! I had the biscuits and gravy, it was amazing! I will definitely be returning here.

I was unsure about this place. I was unfamiliar with the location. I had trouble finding parking lot in the back. We saw the place and still weren’t sure we were in the right place. Inside most tables were full. Good sign, these people seemed to enjoy. Then we meet Thomas. He found us a table and made us feel welcomed. Someone else brought us drinks. Thomas made suggestions, took our order, took the kid on a tour to get crayons, and brought the wifi password. Kid got waffle, egg and bacon. Waffle was everything it should be, crispy outside, fluffy inside, more surface area than volume. Lots of room for hot syrup in the pourable bottle. Wife got the popular item, Santa Barbara omelette. She finished it off and really liked it. I got chilaquiles with chicken. Gots to eat that with a spoon and the great side of salsa. Food perfect. Service perfect. Ambiance and fun perfect.

Bottom Line: Best breakfast in Old Town? You decide. Lemme email you a burrito… Due to a disagreement with my toddler at home, he went ahead and had a bowel movement during the period in time when I normally eat breakfast. This was unfortunate as I typically enjoy eating food before going to work. So I did the good guy thing and changed the diaper instead of playing it off to my wife«.what do you mean he pooped???» *door slams and screeching tires* Anyways, I called the good people of Domingos and asked them if they did order for pickup and not only did they take my order but they blind-walked me through the menu as I had no idea what they even sold for breakfast. they didnt care — they basically just said ‘what do you want — doenst matter what its called, lets get this burrito thing done for you’ So I ordered and when I got there, everyone was super nice, loaded me down with Salsa, told me to have a good day etc. The burrito was great, salsa was great… everything was great. This place is seriously flirting with 5 stars!

I had the best service with our waiter Thomas! I was with a group of five of my hungover friends. He was so friendly and on top of everything. He seriously took such good care of us. He split all of our checks, got us a pitcher of water, and checked on us to make sure the food was good(which it was). Usually waiters roll their eyes at college students in large groups, but we were treated with respect. I was beyond satisfied with the service and the food was excellent. I love bringing friends from out of town here because of the friendly and speedy service.

The best breakfast place ever! Food was delicious. Service was even better. Had a fun experience here. Our server made us laugh a lot we even held multiple conversations. Over all best experience I’ve had at a restaurant. I recommend everyone to come here. Try the Chile Verde and French toast. There’s also a 7⁄11 near buy ;) if they don’t have what you want.

Savory is one way to describe this. The flavor is the right balance that one needs, the mole sauce is not overwhelming with bitterness the way many sauces are on the enchiladas and be eggs are tunes just right. Because of the small staff and general business’s you may not get acknowledged right away and some of the staff seems unaware of your existence. But sit down, because quality is what your in for. You are in for a treat. The coffee does not disappoint and is brewed with a nice balance its called«Farmer Brothers» and it’s good enough for me to commission a search to see if I can get it at home. Come here and you won’t be disappointed by the food at least.

Huge portions! Excellent salsa. Our waiter was super nice. It’s a family run place and we could tell they get repeat customers.

I stopped in for breakfast. I had the enchiladas and eggs. I was expecting a smaller set of enchiladas with some eggs sharing the plate. What I got was a full size dinner plate of enchiladas, rice, beans, salad with two eggs on top. It was delicious. The enchiladas were pure perfection and the eggs(scrambled as requested) were exactly right, fluffy, and neither funny nor overcooked. The plate is served with salsa and pico de gallo on the side. The pico was excellent with just the right amount of spice. The salsa was a medium mild salsa roja(red salsa). Both were delicious. Highly recommended.

It’s my sisters 21st birthday and decided to come with a pretty big group. About 10 people. At first it didn’t seem like it was something they could accommodate but eventually we were seated comfortably with the help of our fantastic waitress. Not sure what her name was but she was an older lady who was a sweetheart. We were a pretty big party and she seemed experienced on accommodating a group of college students asking right away if this was separate checks. The food was delicious and I had a morning breakfast dish which was eggs Benedict. Turned out really good and we all left with a full stomach and a smile.

If you drive from hours away for breakfast, I think it gets a 5 star review. I try something new and each time’s always amazing! The servers are very sweet and helpful, atmosphere chill and local. Coffee… Oh coffee, you are so amazing here.

Waited until my second visit to post a review. Perhaps my first taste of this joint’s nearly perfect Mexican breakfast was a hallucination. My second visit confirmed the place serves very flavorful, fresh tasting traditional Mexican offerings for breakfast that are reasonably priced and served with a smile. The staff clearly cared about my experience both visits– offering a friendly welcome, and professional service. Can’t remember ever caring enough about a side dish of beans to write about it. At Domingo’s the beans will offer you a creamy, satisfying texture and a complex flavor. LOVE. Chile Relleno with eggs on the first visit and cheese enchiladas with eggs on round 2. Both several steps above traditional with lots of flavor and nearly perfect texture. Get a side of house made salsa. I crave Mexican food, and eat it every chance I get. However, this is the first time I’ve ever regretted not having a Mexican grandmother who could make me this food. Can’t wait for Round 3.

My fiancé and I decided to come here after a walk on the beach this morning. We’re visiting from Los Angeles so we wanted to drop by a diner/café type of breakfast spot. I found Domingos on Unilocal and we were not disappointed! We came around 9:30am on a Sunday during the Labor Day weekend, and there were a good amount of customers inside but still plenty of seats open. I ordered the chicken enchilada omelet and my fiancé got the chicken enchilada with two eggs(I secretly loved his dish slightly more than mine). They were both excellent dishes! I especially LOVED my hash browns! I usually don’t order hash browns because every time I have, they were bland. But my fiancé and I dug into my hash browns, and kept wanting more and more. YUMMM! This place has a sweet, relaxed, homey restaurant feel, that seems to be family-owned. The service was quite excellent too. Our orders came out pretty quickly, about 5 – 7 minutes, which I was thrilled about! Our server was very sweet and attentive. She came by multiple times to check on us to see if we needed anything. I also saw and overheard other servers going around asking if customers wanted refills or needed anything. We highly recommend Domingos whether you’re local or visiting from out of town! It is quite worth the trip! Thank you, Domingos, for adding to our delicious food adventures during our trip! We’ll be coming back if we’re in town again!

I might be biased because I think Mexican breakfast is second to none, but Domingo’s Café was great. We came in with a group of 9 and they had 2 big tables set up in case a big group like ours came in. The food came out quick and the wait staff was very kind and helpful. I had the Chorizo breakfast burrito and a cup of coffee. The burrito was loaded with flavor and I may have had 3+ cups of the fresh coffee. A few of my friends got the enchiladas with eggs on top(which is the reason we came here after seeing a photo of that on Unilocal). I don’t think any of them left a scrap of food on their plate. Domingo’s is definitely worth stopping in whether you’re heading to/from UCSB or ending a weekend camping up the 154 like we were.

Service is so slow. It takes a while to get seated, to be given the menu, and then for the food to come afterwards. The food is decent; it’s a decent brunch place to go to when you don’t want to drive all the way to State St. The environment is very friendly, lots of families and I always see other fellow UCSB students every time I go. Domingo, the owner, has been there every time I’ve gone and he always has this little girl helping him set up the tables. It’s so cute. I don’t have any dish that I crazy loved; everything was just alright. Each dish ranges from($ 8 – 12). I would recommend coming if you have time to wait for a table and for mediocre service and food.

Came here for brunch! I always try to get huevos rancheros when I can, but I wanted them with refried beans(I know I know …) and they don’t use refried! Good to know. Boyfriend and I split the Santa Barbara omelette. Came with hash browns and four slices of toast, which was plenty for two people. The omelette itself was pretty decent, but the ratio of cheese and sour cream to avocado /olives was pretty high. I don’t think I ate a single olive … Waiter was nice and attentive. However, I found several ants on the table and in the jelly/jam cup. I’m hoping they just wandered in from the window.
