The bar had open seating which meant I didn’t have to wait at all and still had a full menu options. Our appetizers came very quickly(which was a major plus because I was starving!) Our waiter was sweet and very attentive. She checked up on us and repeatedly refilled our drinks The food was served in a perfect portion and tasted delicious.(bacon burger and shrimp noodles) Not a very quiet setting because everyone is constantly hustling around(but it was a busy Saturday night)

I can see why it closed! We use to fly into this Airport just so we could eat at Elephant Bar. The last time we went it was horrible! Poor service and the food was worst then Denny’s.

A group of us went to Elephant Bar late at night and asked for seats in the bar. The waiter was attentive to our needs and was very friendly. He had to move tables and chairs around to seat us all but didn’t seem to mind a bit. Our orders came out quickly and drinks were great. We were there during happy hour and our drinks were only $ 4~5 each. The waiter saw that we were struggling trying to split the check and he offered to do it for us and didn’t seem to mind the hassle. This place isn’t AMAZING but i always appreciate quick and friendly service so I give it 5 stars.

$ 2.70 for a Coke, and not even an offer of a refill? 1 hr 30 minutes for lunch? It was NOT that busy. When we came in for lunch, there were only 6 tables occupied in the entire restaurant. The waitress came over 5 times to ask how the food tasted, but never asked about the empty soda glass sitting at the edge of the table. You would think if they are charging such a high price, they might actually TRY to make it worth the patrons money. Lessons learned: 1) Drink water: the wait staff is more likely to refill the water glass, they refill it right in front of you from a pitcher that they bring around, and the drinking water is free. 2) When you bring in a 2 for 1 coupon, do not let the wait staff walk off with it when they take your order. They WILL forget they have your coupon! 3) Don’t think the wait staff is attentive to your needs, wants, desires, or expectations. 4) The original receipt has a survey option printed on it, and the detail charges. When they bring back your credit card, that receipt is no longer included, and you can not tell what they included in the final charges. Memorize it the first time, or snap a picture with your phone. 5) Choose a different restaurant, even though you have a coupon. Just say NO.

To the management team of E Bar… allowing only three servers to work the entire floor on a semi-crowded Sunday evening is no good. No good for the staff and definitely no good for us patrons who would like some level of service. Stop watching the World Series, get off the couch and help your team out.(oh…and can you bring my drink out to the back patio!!!)

Stopped in when our car broke down nearby while waiting for the tow truck. It’s been years since I’ve been in because their food usually makes me feel sick… not e. coli sick, but just sick from processed food kind of sick. But what I always used to love was the spinach artichoke dip. It used to be very hot and cheesy and so delicious. It used to be baked in the oven and tasted more hand made. We ordered one and a strawberry margarita while we waited for the tow truck. So sad that the one thing I remember loving has changed enough that I doubt we’ll ever be back even for it. It lacked the ooey gooeyness that I recall… in fact the cheese almost reminded me of reconstituted powdered cheese. It was not piping hot as I recall. It was not baked in the dish it arrived in as I fondly remember. The amount served was less than it used to be, barely enough for two people. Years ago, 3 or 4 could snack on this appetizer and feel the same filling as 2 of us today, so it’s like it was cut in half. The whole thing tasted like it came out of a frozen box and was microwaved. Why do this to a great recipe?! Sniff. The strawberry margarita tasted like a frozen otter pop and very weak. If you like frozen otter pops you’ll like this. The bartender was super nice though! I miss the old days of E-bar…

We flew into Signature Flight Support for a business meeting. Since our clients were running late we decided to grab a bite to eat since the Elephant Bar was right next door. We were seated outside as requested, and then the wait began. It took almost 10 minutes before a server even came outside to ask us our drink order. Then she tried to take our food order right then, but we had not even been given menus. Nothing too impressive here, so ill keep it brief. Service was very friendly, but very slow, slow, slow. Food was okay. The make your own burger was pretty cool, as i like to pick what i like, but the meat tasted kind of weird. Definitely a frozen patty that was defrosted as it cooked. Okay for Mcdonalds, NOT okay for a restaurant like this. If you flew into the airport the convenience is obviously there, but make sure you aren’t in a hurry. Better off going somewhere down the road.

The Elephant Bar is defiantly a hit and miss kind of place, where lately it seems be a miss in many regards. The food is generally decent but not really worth how much it costs? There service lately has seemed to be really really slow. Almost every time I go it is only with 4 – 5 people but it takes an hour just to get our food. Really just sad I hope they get there act together sometime.

I came here this past weekend with a huge group of friends! I have had some past bad experiences at Elephant bar, so I was a little hesitant. We had a little bit of a wait, but we just got to sit at the bar before getting our table — not too big of a deal. We got some appetizers before our lunch dish! We got the sampler and ahi tuna — i tried only one shrimp from the sampler and i was disgusted! The breading was far too much for the size of those shrimps, that tasted no where near fresh! For the main dish, I got the tempura mahi mahi fish sandwich with sweet potato fries. The mahi mahi was way too fishy and broke too easily, not so much in an easy to eat patty form. I am NOT a fan of mayonnaise, so the tartar sauce that much more nasty, with too much slathered on the bread! I believe those sweet potato fries were frozen prior to being served — HORRIBLE. I will definitely not be coming back!

Watch your credit card charge! I came to this location on business and met up with a friend for his bday dinner. I expensed mine on a company credit card and paid for his on my personal card. A month later when Im reviewing both statements, I notice my personal card had a $.50 charge added to the total. I pulled my receipt and there was no way they misread the total. I called the company and asked if maybe there was a $.50 charge I wasnt aware of that would only hit one card. They said there was not and made me feel dumb about calling over $.50. So, I ask to speak to a manager who I am told was unavailable. I leave a detailed message and never get a call in return. I hope this was a one off event, but the fact that no one ever called me back leaves me leery. My friend works for the DA’s office and shes shut restaurants down for taking a nickle here and a dime there on customers cards, adding to thousands a year. If mgmt is not aware this is going on, they should really investigate further. For customers, Id recommend paying cash or watching your stmnts closely. The food was delish and I really liked their menu’s, but I was displeased with the rest.

I ate lunch here last week with 5 other business colleagues. The service was good, but a little slow even for a larger group, especially during the weekly lunch hour. The crab and shrimp louie salad was good and fresh and our group enjoyed several appetizers; the coconut shrimp was ok, as were the sweet potato fries and mac’n’cheese. The bottom line is everything was just ok.

Elephant Bar is usually one of my favorite places to eat. However, i do not like this location. I ordered a burger. It took about 20 minutes, and then it came overcooked and burnt. The waitress was really nice and made us a better one, but I was still a little pissed cuz no one usually likes their burger overcooked. There is one thing I like… the view! Incredible view of the tiny airport, and I admit the kid inside me loves to watch those planes.

A great place to come for lunch or dinner during the week or weekend. I usually come here during the lunch hour and sit outside and watch the airplanes take off and land. Their menu offers a wide variety of items from American to Asian meals along with other global favorites. Even though the last time I came here was just for desert, I would recommend the Summer Adventure BBQ Platter as it has a good combination of flavors and it only comes around once a year. Now back to the desserts: When my small group arrived(around 10pm), we found out that outside seating was closed, so we decided to hang out at the bar. While looking at the dessert menu, I noticed that their happy hour food lasted until closing time which I though was really cool and the prices(which the most expensive at $ 6.50) is very reasonable. My friend ordered the Mango Swirl drink in which she said was sweet but good. I got the Mud Pie, which is very nicely sized and still very good(especially the Oreo cookie crust). My dad got the Strawberry Shortcake which he told me was very sweet, but also, very good. My friend got the Giant Ice Cream Cookie which was vanilla/caramel ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies. I tried a little of hers and that was very good as well. This is a great place for lunch/dinner, or just even coming for desert. It also has a great location near Goleta, the airport, and the Amtrak Station.

Ive been here a couple of times with family. This is my go to place for something a little more upscale when we are feeling like celebrating or splurging a bit on money. Overall they have great presentation, great quality and good taste. Even though it is on the higher end of my budget for dinning out, I always feel like I am getting what I am paying for. They have excellent wait staff, always checking in to make sure everything is ok. I am giving it 3 stars, only because I feel as though I have seen other restaurants that really do go the extra mile for costumer service, or have amazing overall value for the price you pay. The Elephant Bar does great costumer service, but nothing beyond what you would expect at a restaurant at this price range.

Bar review only. Been here two or three times and never impressed. Wine was served in a wet glass. Who does that? The beer selection is limited featuring the usual offenders. The bar itself is not deep and I find myself leaning well over with knees firmly planted into the wood. Happy Hour M-F 3 – 7, All 9-Close $ 3 house margarita, Sm domestic draft $ 4 mojito, well and Sm craft draft or Lg domestic $ 5 top margarita and some specialty cocktails The joint gets busy but it’s mostly a young, collage crowd or much older. Not for me.

The E Bar is definitely a good place to take people when you dont know what they want — its a perfect catch-all. They have a massive menu with just about anything you can think of on it and everything is pretty good. The wait staff is attentive and they usually get things right and if not, they make it right. There is a decent patio for lounging in the sun just as long as someone at the private terminal isnt exercising the engines on their new private jet… its all good. I was going to give this place 3 stars but thinking back, I cant remember having a bad experience here. Yes its a little generic, but its still good.

Hello there elephant bar! You rocked my Sunday. Bottomless mimosas, endless omelettes/cake/waffles/crispy chicken, good times. What’s better than having a generous slice of cake, chicken, and an omelette on the same plate for breakfast and not being judged for it? I strongly urge everyone to go to brunch on Sundays for all of the above. Stephanie especially sealed the deal as the best waitress, hands down. See you soon elephant bar.

Well, I got the Jalapeño burger. well done and it was BURNT. I told them I wasn’t satisfied, so they remade my burger but used the same bun I had bitten out of. Come on. like really, though? I’d rather go get a McChicken from McDonalds.

I enjoy Elephant bar in my own neighborhood for happy hour and good deals… and my LA County location has good service… NOTHERE! 10+ minutes and not even a drink order or even a server to notice I was even visible. Servers were swarming me, some eyeing their big tables, some just standing… I could tell from the time I walked in that I wasn’t gonna have a good experience… lots of open tables and a line to get seated? I handed back my menu to the hostess and walked out after being seated and ignored.

First restaurant I ate with a large group in Santa Barbara and it was nicely decorated with ample seating. Mediocre happy hour prices but they do carry unique international dishes on their menu. They did mess up on my friend’s order but because of that, they discounted her meal entirely which was awesome. I would come again.
