Terrible experience I had to get a prescription transferred from Walmart. I called to get it transferred and ended up speaking with that stupid call center that they have set up now. The person who took the transfer request completely messed it up and put in the transfer request from a different Walmart. So obviously my prescription was not transferred when I asked. I got a callback from them that said that Walmart doesn’t have my prescription so I made an error and call them back. I got off work about 10 minutes prior to Walmart closing so I called Walgreens again to make the transfer request and spoke again with the stupid call center who even if you put in a transfer request cannot do it if it’s after a certain time. Luckily she was able to transfer me directly to the pharmacist which is who I should’ve been allowed to speak with the entire time and he was able to transfer the prescription I’m on my way there now to go pick it up fingers crossed that nothing else went wrong. PS Walgreens stop using the call center it’s a horrible way to set things up I want to speak with someone local not someone in another state.

The store is fine but I would rather walk barefoot on shards of broken glass than have to use this pharmacy. Was in there tonight with my obviously sick child(who by the way was seen at urgent care at PCH in lightening fast time). Told 20 minutes and after the 20 was summoned to the counter only to get stuck behind a lady who was asking about possible refills on her husband’s prescriptions which alone could have filled a drug store. Only one gal at the front to help. After 15 minutes of this the lady ran out of things to ask for and by now six people were in line. Then I was told the prescription I had wasn’t covered by insurance even though another Walgreens filled it for another family member a few weeks ago without issue. When someone finally came from the back to help her they got it figured out. My next mistake(after coming here) was admitting my kid had not taken this medication before because then they made me wait 15 minutes to speak to a pharmacist. The pharmacist then came over and basically read the label to me. This experience took longer than my kid’s entire visit to urgent care. Avoid this pharmacy like the Plague because by the time you get your stuff, the Plague will have wiped us all out

Beautiful store but pharmacy is slow and frustrating. 24 hours is convenient but not when they tell you it’s a 20 min wait and you end up waiting more than 45min.

Over the counter medicines and so much more. I went to Walgreens because I was feeling a little under the weather and thought it would be good to stock up on some over the counter medicine. When I arrived at the store I wasn’t quite sure what medicine totake. The pharmacist could easily see I was confused and offered his assiatance. After selecting my over the counter medicines I walked around the store and purchased juice, a few snacks, and even a «as seen on tv» item or two. Walgreens is a great place to grab exactly what you need any time of the day of night.

so i don’t know what happened here, this pharmacy used to be on top of it. now they take a long time to get to drive-through customers, long wait times and rude pharmacy techs.

Nice store design, but pharmacy is slow as a geriatric slug Walgreens is our neighborhood drugstore. It’s clean, bright, and has a fresh design. Would be four stars, minus the glacial movement of the pharmacy section. Picking up basic scripts takes 20 to 30 minutes, even if using the«express» lane. I guess one could bring a book. At least a novella. Maybe the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The prevalence of motor scooters will help with transportation.

Used this pharmacy on two occasions for my sons medicines since it is 24 hours. The first time they said it would be ready in 20, went back 30 mins later and they hadnt even started my order !! Second time same thing happened except they said they didnt have the stuff to make it there and sent us to the Walgreens on 107 ave and mcdowell and when we got there the lady said I dont know why they sent you here I cant make this! Went back to other walgreens and demanded to speak to manager and what do you know he got the pharmacist to make it he was just to lazy to make it the first time! Never again will I use any Walgreens locations, they lost a loyal customer!

This has to be the most impressive WalGreens store around the west valley. It’s huge and has a great selection of products. What really stood out is their section that simulates a Circle K or Quik-Trip. Want an ICEE? Yup, they have an Icee machine. I even considered buying one of their gourment-type sandwiches/wraps/salad/dessert. It’s a 24 store and has a very well lit cosmetics area. I can’t wait to go back!

Not a very good store in my opinion. The prices are about 15% higher than other stores nearby. It’s fairly clean and service is what you expect from a Walgreens… Crappy. I can’t stand the check out system of these places and others like them(CVS). Just horrible. And the check out process is WAY too long. Avoid!!!
