Dreamalot Books

The store is usually dirty and disorganized. I love to browse through bookstores, but this is just a little too dirty to browse. If you can stand it and look around, there are some deals to be had.

We have a few book series that are missing one or two from the set, so we’ve set out on a used bookstore quest to fill in the gaps. The man who owns this bookstore originally started out when his wife wanted him to sell 1,000 books from their own collection. Nine years later he’s still going! It’s located in the same building as an Allstate office and a lawyer’s office.
Sunday and Wednesday are dollar days, where any book that is priced at $ 5 or under is on sale for a dollar. We managed to pick up two books, one a nice hardcover in mint condition, for a dollar each! The selection isn’t huge mainly because it’s a small store but they do have a ton of romance books, a large shelf of science fiction and quite a few shelves of general fiction with some popular authors. I think we’ll be popping in here quite frequently to check out the new additions. While we were there I think there were two or three other people selling boxes of books, so the influx of new books seems pretty constant.
