Wayback Burgers

WAYBACK beats 5 guys any day and WAAAY better than Burger King or Mickey D for sure.

anyone who thinks Cookout has good burgers probably thinks the Olive Garden is Italian Food and good wine comes in a Box.

Food is pretty good, and the milkshakes are on point! But, for the price and the amount of time waiting if it’s even slightly busy, I could do better for my time/​money. But again, not a terrible choice.

My husband and I just got to the NWS this last week and wanted to try something new. We’d come from the west coast and had never heard of Wayback before. Our cashier was supper helpful and super patient with us and even recommended some food items to try. Our food was wonderful and fresh and the staff is amazing. I haven’t even been here a week and I’ve already gone twice.

This place is amazing! The service is top notch. They have tons of options, and all the food is good.
Highly recommend this place. Much better then the other fast food crap around this area

Well worth the wait! It was clear the food was made to order. Very attentive staff that not only brought the food back to where we were seated, but also checked on us to make sure we liked our meals. Seriously a step up from the previous McDonald’s!

Oh my God!!! You suck! Way over priced. Not worth going to unless you have money to throw away. Complete BS!!!

New burger place in town after McD’s vacated NWS after POTUS ordered mandatory minimum wage of $ 15/​hr for employees. Very clean inside. Simple in appearance. I thought the menu was a little difficult to understand. And those employee wages were plainly noticeable by the prices! Over $ 18 for two burgers, fresh made CHIPS and two drinks.
Employees were friendly and courteous. There were less than ten customers in the store and it took more than ten minutes to be served. Pretty slow if you ask me.
Food tasted good. Burgers came out hot and fresh. Maybe the wait was worth it.
The WORST part of the visit was when I noticed a military discount if you show your ID card. I found the notice on the paper the burger was delivered on (resembles newspaper). Did not see this discount notice anywhere else in the store. Really? On a military installation? Oh yes, we offer a military discount but we just won’t tell you about it.
We will not be returning based on that last comment alone.

Lotta money for a little burger… burger was more like a slider with a side of potato chips and a drink for $ 9…
Go to LG’s 2 miles down the road for a better meal!

First time here… Great customer service and the food was delicious .will be back again come see for yourself…

Burger was good. Chili cheese fries were good also. Dbl bacon cheeseburger, side order chili cheese fries and a shake was over $ 16. Too high for semi fast food. Also, the food takes a while to receive.

I have eaten here twice with the first time being shortly after they opened. The large crowds are more do to the newness and location than food. To me the hamburgers and fries are nothing special. As previously mentioned Five Guys costs less and tastes better. Wayback Burgers does have more to offer on their menu and good shakes. Not to mention the staff is very friendly. There are any good burger joints in Goose Creek so in a pinch I would stop here!

Unimpressive… Nothing was very distinguishing. For the price I would rather have five guys. They do have a better selection of things other then burgers but if that is what you want go to Wendy’s it will be just as good and cheaper. They do have a location that is more convenient then five guys or Wendy’s in reference to my house. I think I will just have to drive farther.

My husband and I decided to stop here on our way home the other day after seeing a crowded parking lot (usually a good sign of great food!). When we got in line we were greeted by a kind gentleman who gave us recommendations on what to have for our first time. Everything that was recommended sounded delicious. Granted the line was slow moving and there was a little bit of a wait but that is completely understandable considering it was the stores opening week. Once we got our food though it was immediately devoured. So delicious!
We came back again today where our same friendly guy from before who remembered us. The food was once again amazing and the service was stellar.
Definitely come for the food. It may be a little pricey but it is delicious. However once you experience the excellent customer service, I guarantee you will leave wanting to come again

Well walking inside the old McDonald’s was expecting little to no mods to the setup. And glad to see that I was wrong cause McDonald’s had been shut down for at least 4 months maybe more. Nice décor and tvs on ESPN. Already a win… until I ordered and had to add my side of fries. Not used to going for lunch and making my meal (in this case sandwich) into a meal. This ain’t Subway baby… so yea… made my add on and I’m seeing a few people standing around and some orders not getting out to their folks without some issues of who it went to exactly. But other than that everyone seemed to be enjoying their orders. I also notice the counter only has one person taking orders and that she is held responsible for taking meals to the patrons. This can’t be good in a rush. Don’t get me wrong… but I’d rather have my meal right and wait on it than have it delivered to my seat. I mean this is fast food right? Let’s just say time was an issue too. Getting close to 15 minute mark at almost 2pm. The rush is over for lunch but it doesn’t seem like it in here. Will try again a few weeks later. I know the storms and flooding is more to blame for this. The staff was friendly and I’m going to proclaim that the burger was good also. And like any manager should he offered to make it right with a free side item next visit.

Yummy food, the milkshake was amazing along with the burgers, yumm-​o! The staff was fantastic, very kind and friendly!
Returned today and tried the «Yorktown «burger! Wow, so yummy!
