Williams Barber Shop

Now that Eric is gone I won’t go here anymore. No one else cuts hair nearly as good as he did. He takes the time while others just want to push you out and move onto the next. He’s now at a salon right down the road go check it out.

The best barber that my husband went to has left. His name was Eric and he was the only one that knew how to cut hair. My husband has went to other people in there but it would always be a butchered job. Later we found out that the head honcho was griping about certain barbers taking so much time. He stated that they are going for «quantity not quality» type of haircuts. The haircuts are nine dollars but I WOULD NEVER recommend going in here even if you’re a shaving your head bald because you could do that for FREE!!!

Went in this morning for a haircut, looking for my usual barber, Eric. I was told that Eric no longer was an employee there and that no one knew why or where he had went. Very unusual. With Eric missing, I decided to let one of the empty seats take me and her name was Chelsea? I asked for a fade, with hair to still be left on top. What I got in return was worse than any nightmare could have projected. This girl literally scalped my head, there was about 1 CM of hair left on my entire head, with the exception of the 2 inches she left on the crown of my head. BY FAR THE WORST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE. Helen Keller could have cut circles around this girl and it is an understatement to say that I will NEVER go back to this butcher shop again.

Messed up that the barber buddies jump the line! When you came in before them. May need to find a different shop.

Used to go here when I was a 4^th and 5^th grader. It’s right next to Food Lion. They always had something showing on TV. From what I remember, it was always a NASCAR race when I came in.
I would come here for a flat top and they did it right. Of course, take my review with a grain of salt because I don’t live in GC any longer. But these people knew how to cut hair. Straight to the point. Many servicemen would come here too given that Mr. Williams himself served in the Navy, I believe.

They have great barbers as well as not so great ones. I will only see one particular person which can be up to an hour or two wait. They do not do appointments and it’s a free for all with no number system. The cut is only $ 9 and some of them will do a straight razor shave. The person I go to is hands down the best barber I’ve ever had. Deducted one star because it’s a pain to wait.

I have been going to Williams for years and have never had a bad haircut from anyone. They do a great job in military cuts.

First time here and I was already in a chair as soon as I got in, the service was fast and painless. They don’t have noise polluting devices like the NEX so it’s quiet and its a barbershop so you get the good kind of shave on your neck. Treated me like they cared and the barber was friendly. Two dollars more expensive than NEX but what’s two dollars when you get fast quick clean and good service compared to the NEX? The furniture inside seemed a little outdated and could use some revamp but other than that its a great place and conveniently near the base.

Best bang for the buck barber shop in town, especially if you sport a shorter hair style. They cater mainly to the military crowd, but that means the barbers are efficient, quick, and even give you a straight razor shave around your ears and the back of your neck. Did I mention hot shaving cream and a wet towel afterward? For $ 9 you can’t beat it. Most other high school dropouts working at sport clips or supercuts want to charge you $ 15-​$ 20 for the same service. Not so at Williams. They are the best.

Not a big fan of cigarette smoke and that is the smell that punched me in the face as soon as I walked in to Williams. They have a plethora of barbers and really cheap prices and give a decent haircut. Being in the location that it is I imagine that they can get rather busy on certain days. I went during lunchtime and only had to wait about 5 minutes before I was in a chair and getting my hair cut. For $ 9 you cant beat the price but I don’t mind spending about $ 7 more for a better haircut in a smoke free environment.

Williams Barber Shop is one of the better barber shops in Goose Creek. They almost never have a line and they have always done a decent job with my haircuts. Their haircuts are only $ 9.00 and that is cheap compared to most barber shops that I have been to.
They offer a neck shave at the end that is just unbelievable. It is honestly a great barber shop for the price. I just wish they were open on Sundays because those are my haircut days.

I’ve been coming here since college. Now my son gets his hair cut here too. Price is great and staff, especially Williams and his granddaughter are excellent barbers.

If you’re on the weapons station and looking for a sat navy haircut, DO NOT GO TO THE NEX. COME HERE INSTEAD.
They know how to do a navy haircut, and they do it better than the NEX, with less wait, and for the same price. Very efficient and traditional barber shop, and as mentioned in the other review, they use the straight blade razor at the end of the haircut.
The biggest problem is that they are not open on sundays (which might be a good thing, too), and they have limited hours on saturdays.
