Town & Country Inn And Resort

Freezing because this cheap place only supplies a sheet and a thin blanket. Most hotels have a comforter and an additional blanket but not this one… I’ll find another place next time.

If you’re after basic, clean, well maintained rooms, very friendly and cooperative staff, close to all you want to do in the White Mountains — all at a reasonable price — this inn just about fits the bill. Our room was huge, had a fabulous view and came at a reasonable price. My negatives:
— The mattresses and pillows are thin and hard as bricks, definitely past their «use by» dates.
— The towels are the size and texture of gym towels. The first towel I tried to dry off was so hard it scratched my skin.
— The restaurant: we ate there for dinner. Big mistake. Reasonable prices for lackluster food and poor service. It’s like they’re just going through the motions to boast a restaurant on the premises. They should give the restaurant up.
Upshot: I ‘d stay there again, but bring my own pillows and eat in Gorham.

What a cute place! The food is good homemade food! The service is great also il the view from the dining room is gorgeous. I am a chef and eat at a ton of restaurants with my family and this is a really great place all around! Must see.

I always stay at the T&C whenever I travel to Northern New Hampshire which is several times a year. The rooms are always clean, spacious and well appointed. The staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. The customer service here is second to none… extremely accommodating.
The location is perfect…
The hotels wi-​fi is free AND works well!
I always ask for a roadside room as the view out the windows to the surrounding mountains is awesome any time of the year.
While this place is quite large I really like how it has a much welcomed comfy, family feel to it.
The food in the restaurant never dissappoints… the prime rib is as good as I have ever tasted. The breakfasts are very special… think homemade bread toast and REAL maple syrup on your blueberry pancakes!

Super friendly staff. The price wasn’t out of line for what they offered.
The beds were sufficient to get a nights sleep. The room was clean. Pool was nice. Video game room was operating at 80%. Walls were thin. Things quieted down around 9, after the kids decided to stop jumping on the beds or running down the hall. I can’t justify rating this place a 3 star because it is a decent place to stay. Just not a 5 star is all.
Ps. The gojo pump soap in the shower struck me as odd.
