My wife and I stopped for lunch. Ended up with breakfast. I had the chunky monkey which was very good. French toast stuffed with peanut butter, bananas, chocolate chips with chocolate syrup and whipped cream. My wife had the house omelette and it was ok. Very friendly service and clean with reasonable prices. We’ll be back.

Normally, I’m a fan of Lux, but not so much for dinner. Their breakfasts are very good, probably the best in the area. Their Lux Sampler is awesome. However, this is the second time I’ve been there for dinner and both times were less than great. On this occasion I ordered the Greek Pork Chops that came with one side and a «small» Greek salad. Small is the key word… one piece of lettuce, one piece of cucumber, 4 pepperoncinis, 1 hunk of tomato, a small piece of green pepper, a small cube of Feta cheese and few thin slices of onion. The menu said 2 pork chops and I received three… a nice bonus right? Well, the pork chops were over done to the point you had to stab them with a fork to penetrate them. The service was mediocre at best. I had to make eye contact with my server to get a drink refill and when I complained about the pork chops I was told she would tell the cook and the manager, however, I heard from neither. She never once asked how my dinner was and until I made eye contact never once checked to see if my dinner was satisfactory. When I went to pay my bill, once again, never asked how my dinner was and was verbally asked by the cashier how much tip I wanted to leave… tacky tacky tacky. Lux is a very good place for breakfast normally, but I won’t be back for any other meal.

Tons of choices on the large selection menu. Ate breakfast. Well worth the money. Huge portions will have some left to take home. Yummy place

This is basically basic breakfast place, but with some interesting things on their menu. They get 5 stars for mixing it up. Eggs Benedict is my favorite traditional breakfast meal. They offer several styles of eggs Benedict. I tried the potato and it was excellent. I usually order eggs benedict without the muffin because I’m allergic to wheat. This potato version of eggs Benedict came with delicious potato cakes instead of the muffin. The rest of my party seemed to have pretty nice looking breakfasts. What a surprise this place is!

We had lunch here today. As some of the other reviews stated the potato soup is very good. I had the club BLT with fries. The fries were better than average but the sandwich was just so-so. It was mostly bread with very little inside. On the plus side we were served very quickly as were other tables within our view. Bathroom was nice and clean and that’s usually a good indicator of what the kitchen looks like. All in all a good eating experience and yes we would go back but probably order something else off their huge menu.

We stopped in Lux Café Saturday morning for breakfast. They were busy, but we were waited on quickly and our food arrived promptly and hot. I ordered the cinnamon french toast with raspberries. It was delicious. My husband ordered the Hawaiian Omelet and he enjoyed it very much. Food was very reasonable and service was great.

Typical Greek diner. Good food and big portions. The service was great and my club sandwich was good. I might try them for breakfast in the future.

Exactly what I was looking for, a quick, cheap brunch. I had some eggs and pancakes. Nothing special but I wasn’t looking to be wowed. I’ll be going back because the service was fast and accommodating.

Huge menu, almost overwhelming. Everything I’ve had has been decent, but not outstanding. With that being said its good enough that I eat here often. I’d recommend breakfast foods.

My wife and I normally go here for breakfast. I ordered dinner for carry-out but we were missing our soup and dessert. From now on, it’ll just be a dine-in breakfast spot.

Normally here for breakfast, but just recently had dinner here. Ordered the NY strip(medium) and it was done just how I wanted it. Had the potato soup which was excellent. Our server was nice so no complaints here.

This place was suggested by the desk clerk at our hotel. The menu is very extensive and the prices very reasonable. The portions were large. I had the New Yorker. It was an 8 oz strip steak smothered in mozzarella cheese and grilled onions. It was served with homemade soup and a side. I chose the broccoli soup. It was excellent.

I just ate there and it is my second time at this place. The food is great but most of all the service surpassed my expectations. Very friendly and attentive – Erin does a fantastic job waiting tables! I will most definitely come back again.

We have eaten here twice and would probably not return. In seems to be a popular place but I must not be ordering the right items from the menu. This time I had the all you can eat fish special for lunch. It was $ 7.95 and included fries and cole slaw. The fries and cole slaw were good but the fish was mediocre. They were thin pieces maybe ¼ inch thick with mostly breading. My wife had the fish sandwich which came with fries and a bowl of soup for $ 5.95. She was disappointed that the fish was just a square fish patty and not a filet. She liked the fries and said the soup was ok. Service was fine and quick.

This is a basic Midwestern restaurant, one of several in the area that serves American food with the occasional Greek twist(there’s a disguised spanikopita as a dinner option). There’s not a ton for vegetarians to eat, but the breakfasts are good: big and lots of variety. I always get the Babalou, a «Mexican» omelette, minus the chorizo. My boyfriend, not being a vegetarian, finds this place to be kind of a «crap shoot»(his words): often the specials sound great but the food is overcooked and only tolerably edible. We come here a lot regardless. It’s our default because it’s the nearest sit-down restaurant to home. The servers are generally very sweet and attentive, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and because it’s usually busy, there’s usually a lot to see! Great for families with small kids. They didn’t even kick us out the time my 2yo niece hammered a creamer packet and it sprayed all over the booth.

After church, my stepmom is out of town, so dad decides Lux Café is a good spot — the huge menu will please me(omnivore and culinarily adventurous), him(mostly eats vegetarian) and my brother(meat-and-potatoes kinda guy). This place is very similar to the«Greek» diners that dot Chicagoland and so it felt familiar to me. Breakfast all day, gyros and burgers and wraps and soup and so forth… not much atmosphere, busy and crowded. I had a gyros scramble(eggs, gyro meat, feta, potatoes, tomato, onion) and coffee; my brother had a burger, my dad had a veggie wrap. The guys’ meals came with soup. There was exactly one choice of soup: creamy chicken and rice. I think my dad would’ve been happier with a vegetarian option and it surprised me a little that that was THE only choice. But he ate it because that’s the kind of guy he is. My scramble was tasty but more like a fritatta or open-faced omelet than a «scramble»(I was expecting curds of egg, big chunks, not a round flat thing). The coffee was reasonably good. Service was slow(took a long time to get our order taken; the waitress seemed busy but not so busy she couldn’t have checked in a few more times) and we originally got the wrong check. But the prices are pretty low and the food was pretty good. So a solid three stars it is, for breakfast and a big menu in Goshen.
