I love my Meijer! It can’t get any better oh wait yes it can because not only is it a one stop shop but 24 hours!!! What! They have a large meat selections and at a great price. Their produce selection is awesome. Meijer offers an abundance of asian food as well. Love love their fruit selections!

#ILOVEMEIJER!!! Seriously though. It’s a classier version of Walmart, kinda like Target, but with a full on grocery store. They have a GM side with everything you need from cosmetics, to pharmacy, sporting goods, clothes, electronics, holiday décor, etc. And a wide variety of it all. The other side is grocery. The place is huge… Fitbit folks can get a good 5,000 steps during a trip here! So what I like about this location: with it being brand new, it’s obviously super clean. There’s a lot of employees on the floor and they’re fairly knowledgeable and willing to help. The bathrooms aren’t gross. They have a really great grocery side with lots of organic/gluten free options for those who care. The prices are competitive, too. There’s a nice huge parking lot up front. AND to top it off, tons of checkout lanes to get out outta there and on your way home stat. Bonus: lots of self-checkout lanes for those independent Unilocalers like me :)

At first I was adamantly against the idea of such a large store in which you could buy a multitude of things under one roof but boy was I wrong! I was pleasantly surprised to see they carry department store cosmetic lines as well as salon hair products. I am anti-Walmart & find that product offerings at Target to be limited(especially grocery wise) so when in the mood to go discount department store shopping Meijer is my new go to. The staff at this location leaves a bit to be desired, my visits have been between 3−7am so far, hopefully it’s just the 3rd shift that’s lacking in customer service etiquette. Overall = love! Prices are phenomenal & selection is fantastic. where else can you pick up coconut milk yogurt & Clinique makeup all in the same visit?

Too much bullying of employees and their coupon and M Perks program is time-consuming and cumbersome. Shape up Meijer’s!

I’m updating my review because it appears as though their over-charging issues have stopped — at least for me. I have not noticed any further discrepancies between the advertised price of an item and what the register rang that item up for. One thing you need to be careful of. I routinely find expired and close to expired items in the dairy section. In November, I found a carton of orange juice that had a «use by» date of August 8th. It pays to look through a few of the same items to ensure you get the freshest.

Prices are the key reason to shop here. Freshness in the produce section is iffy. Sometimes the prices are not displayed. Check out lines are slow. The cashiers has to bag your groceries the store is so large that employees still do not where many items are located the mPerks program is overly complicated. The more I shop at meijers the less satisfied I have been

Their produce sucks but pretty much everything else is awesome. Good weekly deals, their chicken breasts are always very cheap and it’s nice being able to grab other stuff while doing your grocery shopping. If they could just keep their produce department stocked and offer a few more varieties of apples I’d give them 5 stars.

This place was amazing. Not sure if I had ever been to a Meijer before, or if I had, it had been years and years. Think of it as a much more upscale Walmart. Not only in its appearance, but in the clientele as well. Maybe I’m basing that off its location but it was really nice inside. It wasn’t too overwhelming and everything was laid out nicely and was easy to find. They have so much more than food too. They have toys & games as well as other household items. It’s exciting to know that there is a Meijer just 20 min or so north of where I live, as well as a brand new location in Tosa that may be even slightly closer. I’m sure I’ll frequent this place– at least more so than Walmart.

I have decided to boycott Walmart after my few shopping stops at meijers in grafton. The produce department is huge and they have self weigh stations where you can weigh your produce and plop the bar code sticker on it for faster check out. This also takes the guess work out of budgeting while shopping. The lay out of the store has been easy to learn and they have a lot of great sales. If you keep your eyes peeled you will also find markdowns in the grocery area. Another highlight of the grocery section at this store is the vast selection of hard to find items both in ethnic foods and gluten free. And the milk is the cheapest I’ve been able to find as well. The clothing is a step up from Walmart but not as good as kohls. I still bought some shirts for my son there, nice to have more clothing choices in our area. The garden center is a great competition to Home Depots. They do have self check outs and a representative that helps you find the fastest check out aisle. I had Douglas on my last shopping trip and he helped me quickly set up the meijers app on my phone so I could save an additional 10% on a sale item. This store is a great addition to all the local big box store competitors in the area!

MEIJERISINWISCONSIN. ANDTHATISAMAZING. Born and raised in beautiful Grand Rapids, MI, home of Meijer, I have literally been a lifelong customer. And while I have loved living in Milwaukee the past several years, Meijer has always been that one thing really missing from home(besides my family. hello, family. sorry.). Many a Wisconsinite has asked me, «What is this Meijer you speak of? And why are you so gosh-darned excited about it?» Well, let me tell you. Besides the nostalgia of growing up with Meijers all over the place, they have just about everything. Seriously. Full grocery, housewares, garden center, pharmacy, media and entertainment, pet care — ALLOFIT. «But isn’t it just like Walmart?» they ask. NO. Well, maybe. It’s more like if Walmart and Target had a family-owned love child. Everything seems fresher here — better produce, great meat. Prices seem like they’ll be competitive with Pick ‘n’ Save, which is fabulous for SE Wisconsin. Currently lots of great sales on fruits and veggies, making it totally worth the drive. Also, join the mPerks program — you can load coupons onto your account and earn rewards. The Grafton store is fabulous. Some fellow Mitten pals and I went for the grand opening, and I’ve since returned once for groceries. The store is clean, bright, and well-organized. The staff is fantastic, welcoming customers into the store. It seems like they still have some staff in from stores around the region, but I’m sure the local crew will be great. Good stuff, people. Get excited!

I went here today, I was impressed with the selection of stuff they had, their employees seemed dedicated as well, I ran into some customers that would be better suited at Walmart with their cart on one side of the isle and talking to someone from like 2006 on the other side of the isle completely oblivious that other customers would like to go past. I need to figure out the best time to visit this place to avoid the second class citizens.

Over all it’s a good start of variety over the Saukville Walmart. The prices are moderately low and they push variety in the food section. This is a week old new location and there’s been a lot of local buzz. They have Grocery, Home Décor, Electronics, Auto & Sporting Goods, Pharmacy and there’s much more. Other amenities are both the Starbucks & USBank presence. Because it’s a new store the staff is all over the place and almost need to relax a bit. I felt like I was being watched as my wife & I observed the whole place. I have many years experience in retail management and that was my only red flag. Again they are getting their rhythm I am sure. So yes check it out.
