Locally owned health food shop. Really like their prepared foods for when in a hurry and want healthy alternatives. Sweet women work here as well.

Such a great place. Divine food, great service, a must-visit every time I’m in Grafton. I wish we had the same thing in Los Angeles.

This place is an absolute gem! Being gluten and grain free by choice, the one thing that has been challenging is finding things that are«fast» or ready made that arent laden with garbage and preservatives. That, or they simply have no taste. Not the case with anything at Slowpokes. Everything from the ready made sandwiches, breads, soups, and cookies are out of this world! I would say Im an above average home cook and have made some pretty darn good cookies and baked goods but they still pale in comparison to the ones her. Everything is simply outstanding and I love going there. Great organic meats, summer sausages, kefirs, etc. It is a tad pricey, however, if you shop smart and utilize it for what you need and buy the other stuff elsewhere, it evens out. Its a blessing to have found them and I dont know what I did before I found them?!

Someone gave me two jars of Slow Poke’s Coconut Kefir(fermented coconut milk) several months ago. It was incredibly good«made by hand in small batches… probiotic rich and luscious taste. Nutrient dense live food.». They have«Blue Moon»(wild blueberry) and a «Lemon Sky»(lemon) varieties, both delicious. I finally made the pilgrimage to Slow Pokes yesterday, and it was worth the trip. The store is small, but stocked with lots of hard to find vegan foodstuffs and ingredients. There a number of really good frozen vegan soups(as well as other soups). I picked up a couple really interesting books, including«Cheesemonger– A Life On The Wedge». I encourage anyone reading this review to go to the Slow Pokes website and read the biography of the owner/founder to see the heart and dedication she puts into this venture.

Lots of local WI dairy and produce, meats and gluten-free products. Many baked goods, pre-made pizzas, soups, sandwiches and a huge variety of other products. So happy to have Slow Pokes near by!

Kudos to Slow Pokes! We love this little store. It’s the best place around for those of us who are gluten free. Freshly baked cookies and muffins, homemade pizza, weekly veggie bags, kiefer and kombucha, flours, spices, grassfed meats and much more. We love it! The employees are great and very helpful. You can get everything you need here for the gluten free and local diet. It’s a little pricey, but they make up for it in quality and service.
