Love this place. Always hot and good food. The atmosphere may not be the greatest, but the food is always served hot and tastes great! We enjoy the community table where we have met some wonderful people! Love there breakfast, but come early to get a seat! Breakfast ends at 11:00 and there is always a lunch special during the week. The place reminds you of a good old place where you become a regulatory quickly. The waitresses are friendly and super efficient. Open till 8:00 p.m. Mon-Sat. Bring the kiddies they will grow up here and bring their kids!

We were planning on going somewhere else for breakfast, but it was closed on Mondays. So this was a 2nd choice. Hard to rate a 5 as a 2nd choice? Usually! But, this place was VERY good! Pretty quick in, even though there was a wait. Drinks came quick and the food was fast too. I asked for my bacon to be cooked very crispy, and they nailed it! Everything tasted wonderful, and all at a good price. Yeah!

I brought my parents in this morning to eat around 10:15. My stepdad was weary of the place, as there was a little wait. I told him it would be worth it, and we were able to sit down very quickly. Katy was a ray of sunshine on this rainy day. She had the most positive disposition, it really rubbed off on me and put me in a good mood. I got the eggs and bacon, has towns came with it, as well as a biscuit. I added a side of gravy because I was feeling like a fatty. We received our drink orders and then within 5 minutes, our food. Good portions, quick service, and an awesome waitress bumped my review of this place up. We were seated, fed, and out the door within 49 minutes. THAT’S what I call service! Ugh. I need a nap now.

The unexpected best food out in a while. A diamond in the rough. Go there. You will love it.

I regularly crave their burgers, but today I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. I was not disappointed. It was juicy & well seasoned. I cannot go to Pop’s without ordering onion rings because they are simply perfection! Pop’s is tops!

Older little place, nice service. Had 3 drinks, an order of fries, mushroom swiss burger, ¼ lb cheeseburger & a BLT. Under $ 20 bucks. Good food, fast too.

It is a popular place and deserves it. The service was fantastic and the food excellent. I ate there several times while visiting my sister. It is our favorite place.

This place has been a local favorite since I was just a little girl. They make a great BQ sandwich and a good footlong hot dog. It’s not the cleanest place. It’s mostly teenagers working there. But they are always friendly and polite.

We stopped for lunch and were pleasantly surprised — had the clams and onion rings, they were very good. Clam strips were good size and meaty and onion rings were good. We went back a few days later with friends and I had the clam strips again. My friend had country fried steak and said it was very good too. Great home cooking!

Great spot for breakfast. If there is a wait sit at the community table and meet the locals.

Wow. Very impressive. We stopped in after passing this place for a while since we moved here. The first impression is when the parking lot is almost full at 10:00 am on a Monday, that’s a good sign. Walk in and lots of chatter and clean. Pick a table and enjoy. We could hear all the locals who come all the time chatting and table swapping to chat with someone else. You only get that in a local business with local people. The staff is very friendly and well trained. We can’t wait to come back. And the coffee is GREAT. Stop by and support a local business you won’t be disappointed.

Love this tiny, down home place. Freshly cooked food, good prices, and friendly staff. Definitely the last of the original diner era.

This place is clean. The people are friendly and for the type of processed mass produced food it is prepared very well. But if you are a foodie or care where your food is from(not factory farms or pesticide laden flavorless vegetables) you will love it. The best things were the French fries.

Pop’s is exactly what you’d expect from a cash-only, corner of the county thoroughfare type of place. It’s cheap, you get generous portions, and the people are friendly. My daughter and I visited for dinner on a Friday night. We’ve been for breakfast and had to do that awkward stand-and-wait for a seat, where you’re almost on top of the people eating. Can they eat any slower?! You get a little anxious when someone else comes in because they might try to swoop in front of you for the first vacant seat. You try a preemptive measure and hover near a table who looks almost finished. The second they scoot back in their chairs you’re on it like white on rice. ANYWAY, our visit for dinner this Friday night was nothing like that. We walked in, ordered, and sat down almost immediately. My daughter orders the country steak dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was great. The mashed potatoes and fried steak came covered in brown gravy. She offered a bite and I took two. I ordered the BBQ plate with french fries and green beans. The green beans were straight from a can and the french fries were of the frozen bag variety; crinkle cut. My BBQ was good. It comes with sauce mixed in, but they didn’t overdue it. My daughter got a small cornbread muffin with her meal. I got two dinner rolls with mine. So far, that all sounds fairly unremarkable. Maybe I was just deceived by the country diner charm of Pop’s. Pretty girl at the register. Polite dude running the food and offering refills. But what really got me was the price. Our food, plus a sweet tea, cost $ 17. Two burgers and fries from Five Guys will run you around $ 25. A trip for two to Chipotle will be about the same. You get all that and more from Pop’s for less than an Andrew Jackson. You can’t find that in many places these days.

We go here for breakfast. I have tried a couple things on Pops breakfast menu. Their pancakes are REALLY good, the corn beef hash also good. My husband gets their biscuits & gravy and say it is the best around these parts. But alas I have settled on a favorite! French toast. Ali is a fantastic waitress, she knows our usual and sometimes has it going when we walk in the front door! The place is a bit small and it is first come first seated. But I would not have it any other way. There are two community tables that are smack dab in the middle of the dinning room. I prefer to sit at one of these to get caught up with friends that frequent Pops. They also have the to go, but I prefer the patrons and the waitresses Ali and Mary!

What a great find! The food tastes great and the prices are really reasonable. We stopped in for lunch and tried the daily burger special. For under $ 7 you get a large burger on a soft bun, fries, and a large drink. Our group also got a blt(with extra bacon) and the chicken salad. On a hot summer day the chicken salad on toasted bread was perfect. Most sandwiches were $ 2 or $ 3. Dinners are around $ 7. Desserts are also available for a very minimal price. Service was quick and the quality was good. The restaurant was clean and well lit. We will be back for dinner.

Cool local place. Ads for local businesses on the tables. Neat pictures on the walls It’s a diner. Burgers, hotdogs, fish, clam strips, assorted pies, different side salads. Take note; they only deal in cash. No cards or checks. Honestly, they’d make a killing installing an ATM there. I want a cut of the action if they do put one in. It was my idea. I’ll go again, for sure. It’s cheap, decent food. It’s prepared quickly and the staff is friendly.

This place was pretty good but definitely not worth the wait. Jesus Christ, what is the deal with people’s haircuts in this town? For a second there, I actually thought that all these middle-aged women were wearing coon-skin caps or something. Seriously, this is kind of out of hand. Basically this is just your typical diner. Nothing special, nothing to write home about. Barely worth Unilocaling about. I mean this place is so middle-of-the-fucking-road, I mean it’s extra-medium. on a scale of 5 to –5 this place is a 0 but somehow more 0 than 0. It’s like that time that Eric Clapton and Kenneth«Babyface» Edmonds teamed up for the soundtrack to that completely mediocre John Travolta movie. These guys are taking luke-warm to a whole other dimension.

This place has been here for as long as I can remember and if you get technical about it, twice that time. They have friendly service, greasy food, and the price is right. Not sure it would win any awards but they’ve been a staple of the community. Here’s to hoping they keep on doing what they do.
