I gave The Glass Palette five stars… I think it depends what you are looking for. The night my husband and I went, we were looking for something simple, relaxing, unique. What a great location, with soft lighting, good music(some Rat Pack, some jazz, some James Taylor & Van Morrison), an intimate space. When we were the last two left, we requested some of those choices on the Pandora station and they were happy to change it for us. There were pub snacks on the table and the opportunity to purchase sweets. The choice of wine and higher-end spirits were plenty. I think everyone would be happy with the selection. The prices are competitive with restaurants and with the quality. When we were there, there were paint brushes, paint, glass palettes & wine glasses to paint(free of charge). I’m not sure if that was a new opening thing or if they will do it indefinitely. I loved that. They will keep it there and when you come back, you can use your own glass. We aren’t from the area, but have recommended our friends to check it out. I heard several people saying that Grafton needed a place like this. The couple running The Glass Palette were very nice, they popped around to the tables and chairs and not only checked on drinks, but seemed genuinely interested in who you were, where you were from, how you heard about them, etc. It was nice to see that. I also heard that they welcome you to bring your own food in. They have menus from area restaurants available. We will go back when we are in the area. So… check it out.
