Whenever I am in North Carolina I make sure to stop here so I can get a milkshake. They are amazing!

Great hotdogs, burgers, hushpuppies and shakes. Absolutely love their Cookout Style burger/hotdog that comes with mustard, chili, onions and slaw –Tasty. Great hushpuppies. Wonderful shakes with many flavors to choose from. No inside seating. Drive thru only. Reasonably priced. Fairly quick.

Good road trip pit stop. This cook out location is right off 40. They have 2 lanes for drive through service, which made the line very short. We had 4 separate orders in our car. The staff was able to take the 4 orders very easily and accurately. There is no seating, bathrooms, or quesadillas at this location. Pretty good food and REALLY fast service. Love the cook out tray special and their milkshake selection. The food seemed kind of slapped together, but it was really fast so, it makes sense. You can’t beat the prices here!
