I’ve been back and found they offer a great sandwich–«flying club» and they deliver to houses near by. I still don’t like the bread the offer– it’s salty and doughy. I’m still not impressed by their pizza either. But, offering delivery services and«flying club» I’m thinking it’s «ok»

So for a restaurant that had such good reviews, this was a joke. Took 20 minutes for her to get a mudslide drink. Then we have garlic allergy, we asked if we could get anything. The first young kitchen a manger wanted to help, and was helpful. FYINOYOUCAN’T GETANYTHING. We were told you can get a salad or burger. So ordered a burger. We we got it he had garlic seasoning. Told the server(who other than likes the behemoth burger, was worthless) he got a Older manager with gray hair comes out with a MAJORATTITUDE, when we say it has some garlic on it. He says«well you came to an Italian restaurant, we use garlic.» HINT! When Someone says they have A Deathly allergy to something… you try to make sure it doesn’t happen. Also had the Gluten free pizza with so much garlic burnt my GF’s lips. Also, either order a soda or a drink from a tap. Or you might never get it.

We passed Juanalisco’s(or Jualisco’s… Doesn’t matter) and realized it was a fast food joint, so instead we went into the restaurant next door: Flying Tomato. We were seated at a very small bar and served Irish Death, which I like. I had no expectations when we ordered. Please let this be more of a review of my food than the restaurant as a whole since I didn’t really scope the place out, nor did we order anything but entrees. My boyfriend ordered a simple personal pepperoni pizza. I ordered the«two pastas and two sauces» with spaghetti and mazithra. My pasta was al dente. Perfect amount of sauce. Huge portion. My boyfriend’s pizza was outstanding. The sauce was tangy, but in the best way. Super light and crispy crust. Very seriously may be one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Honestly, the food was really good and it was super memorable for me. I can’t speak for any of the appetizers or anything but what we ordered was awesome.

I have been to this place several times with my husband, and he always loves to order the Ragin’ Cajun(: The spaghetti and meatballs are my favorite! The drinks here are really good, you can tell the bartender knows what he’s doing. Their recession bread is a bit on the salty side, so it makes you kinda thirsty. Otherwise this place is awesome! Thumbs up(:

We came in on a Friday night and the service was great. We were sat right away and the food was delicious! We ordered the kids spaghetti and meatballs, fish and chips, blue cheese stuffed steak, and a chopped salad. The bread they start you out with is so good! They pair it with a sun dried tomatoes butter so be careful!!! One could easily fill up on this stuff! The steak, fish and chips and kids spaghetti were delicious! Kids spaghetti was a huge serving! We appreciated the leftovers the next day! The dressing on the chopped salad was not so great. It was a smoked bacon buttery type vinaigrette(not sure exactly) but seriously it tasted like cigarettes! So if you want the chopped salad just order it with a different dressing. The lettuce and veggies were super fresh tho! Also one other thing that was a drag was that it was super hot inside! Granted we were sitting in one of the booths next to the pizza oven but maybe they just had the air turned off or something. They had a huge projector screen and I could see this being a great place to watch the game!

I use to love this place. The last few times we have been here. The service wasnt good at all and we were the only ones in the restaurant. It seems the food quality has gone down. My mom ended up getting sick after eating here. I wont be back. Sad because we use to love this place, they even catered our food for our wedding. Sad to see it go down hill.

I love this place!!! Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and incredible food! I tried the Angry Bird entrée based on the advice of one of their wonderful hostesses and I’m so glad I did! Go check this place out! :)

HORRIBLEHORRIBLEHORRIBLE! The bread came to our table half burned(black) on top and tasted very salty. I ordered the lasagna which was only lukewarm and the cheese was burnt and looked like it was maybe a few days old. Husband had the Rajun Cajun pasta and the chicken was so dry he couldn’t eat it. There were only four pieces of sausage and three shrimp. He didn’t even eat the pasta. Waiter came to the table and asked if we needed boxes. We said no. Waiter didn’t even question why it looked like our plates weren’t even eaten off of. What a complete waste of money. Will NEVER be back!

First off, the service I received was outstanding! Definitely 5 stars for a special delivery to my house. The price was outlandish for the quality of food I received. I had ordered the Marco Polo and it had huge prawns but tasteless Alfredo and the scallops were nonexistent. 1 stars for that fiasco of a dish. The crab and artichoke dip was not to my liking. It was oily and smelled like vomit. It had onions and peppers as well as a generous amount of crab; but it was not to my liking. It is my personal reception of the appatizer… it was expecting something different. I will not include this in my review of stars. The gooy brownie is an amazing dessert! It looks like crap in a box but oh WOW is it soooo yummy! 5 stars! I would order again from them for sure! The service and convince is great; quality of food is low and bland.

We have been to this place twice now and the food is amazing. Both nights we were there was buy two meals and take home a free medium pizza. That’s a hell of a special! The sausage sandwich and pasta was a great choice. Also got the fried zucchini with their amazing sauce. Sooo good. Only reason for the 4 star and not 5 is we have only been twice but I see that changing to a 5 star very soon. Used to go to Amici’s in Graham for local Italian which is still good but will choose this place over them hands down.

If your looking for a pleasurable dining experience at all levels, look no further; The Flying Tomato is the place to go! The food is amazing, the service is outstanding and the ambiance just makes you feel good to be there. Additionally, if your looking for a change of pace from the large«get you in and get you out» chain restaurants, this locally managed establishment will exceed your expectations of finding that intimate niche that smaller establishments provide. If I could rate this establishment at ten stars, I would say they have earned each and every one.

Nothing special. Their menu is pretty broad though they seem to specialize in pizza. We ordered a 9 inch pizza and fish and chips. Pizza was average. Toppings weren’t high quality. Light on cheese and sauce. Fish and chips was average(about what you would expect from a place that sells pizza and fish n’ chips). The batter on the fish and the fries tasted like the oil was overdue to be changed. Service was good, however. Courteous and attentive.

The place has a huge screen for watching the games. We ordered the chicken parmesan and a cheese pizza. I thought about trying the burger and fries but they couldn’t tell me the type of Vege patty so I decided pizza was a safer choice. I was surprised so see how small it was for the price. The pizza was good but the chicken parmesan was a bit salty. They serve warm bread and herb butter that was good. I saw on the dessert menu, elephant ears and was tempted to order it but was too full from dinner. Overall, it was ok and will give it 3 stars. If we come back it’s because we had a coupon and would just get the pizza. One plus is that they are giving out a $ 10 gift certificate that is good only in January. I think this is a Christmas promotion.

Good food, great prices. Décor could be better but other then that it’s a great place to eat. The buffalo chicken salad is amazing! So is the fish and chips. My husband loves the pesto and meat sauce. Will be back again soon.

Mediocre. Had the spaghetti. I like that it’s local, but the prices are kind of high for what it is. Good location for where I live, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Might go back to try to get someone to do the food challenge though.

This place was so gross. The Mac and cheese for the kids were straight out of a box. Something I could have made myself. The goat cheese salad was gross. Barely any cheese, and the salad was just thrown in the box and half of it was wilted. The«fresh» bread was fresh, but I couldn’t eat more than one slice!!! It was SO salty!!! It was a total waste of $ 33 dollars. Panera is WAY better! Save your money… oh and the calamari was very undercooked:(yuck!

Meh… I’m not impressed. Service was slow. Prices were on the high end for the quality of the food. The burger I had compared to crappy fast food burger. The meat sauce was really salty, so salty nobody at the table could eat it. The soda was flat. For the same price I could have gone to The OG and at least had good bread sticks and decent service.

Service is decent pizza is fairly good, however the sauce on the pizza is not good. The pasta sauces are bland normally but the bartender is always great. She can turn any experience into a good one. The Caprese salad and the goat cheese salad are wonderful and the mozzarella wedges at very good. Burgers are not worth getting. The butter and fresh bread is my favorite thing on the menu. The atmosphere is usually cold at best and they no longer have their after 8pm pizza deals. Poor decision by management because I truly believe most of their revenue was from that deal.
