A diamond in small town Graham, NC. All homemade and unique flavors. Black Cherry was great with big chunks of cherries. I rank this place and Yum Yum in Greensboro as the best ice cream as my favorites!

Came by on a warm June night. The place was busy, but the lines moved fast. The customer service was great and the ice cream, too!

Driving home from the mountains, we were craving ice cream and I remembered Smitty’s has a location in downtown Graham not far from I-​40. We love Smitty’s ice cream — it’s homemade, creamy, and sooooo good! I first tried their Amaretto Cherry Chip (ACC) at the Festival for the Eno. Then when we enjoyed every bite of their cookies and cream and mint chip at Boshamer Stadium. All of it is incredibly delicious! At their shop they have a bunch more flavors including banana, peanut butter chocolate, and even a margarita ice.
The owner Amy was there on the day we visited and it was so nice to talk with her.
The shop is adorable — they have a few square tables inside and out and three or four chairs at the counter. This could be the perfect place to celebrate my little one’s birthday. I’ll have to wait another year or two for that but till then we plan to visit when we can and savor every bite of that ice cream!

Homemade ice cream, yogurt, and smoothies! Hand scooped with smiles! Awesome cake and traditional cake cones and yummy toppings! Great for a locally owned treat!
