I have eaten at Subway’s all over the country for some type of fresh and relatively healthy food. I have eaten at good ones and bad ones, but hit something I’ve never seen before at this location. The first flag was the employees saying their bread has been too soft lately and hard to separate and cut. Consequently, a rather odd looking sandwich. I have been a rewards customer for years, but this is new to this area. At the cash register they struggled to figure out what to do and said they had not been trained on how to redeem rewards. Sounds like something the managers should have been attentive to. Lastly, after purchasing three sandwiches, three chips and a drink, we opened one bag of the chips and they were very stale. We went back to the store and were told the manager said they could no longer refund chips. And after saying, I wanted to exchange stale chips for fresh chips, I was told their manager had told them that day they couldn’t exchange any longer which was a refund. I’m not sure why they would expect people to pay for stale chips, so a trip to speak to the manager tomorrow is on my day planner.

I always love a new location because they are so clean! The parking lot is nice, it is walking distanced to a nail salon and Michaels, so I find myself drawn to this location. The sandwich artists here address very nice and efficient, so I feel like it’s a value and convenient, I will be a loyal customer for years to come.

There always seems to be a Subway in every H-E-B shopping center, making it an option for lunch every once in a while. Honestly, the reason I don’t like going to Subway is that when you leave, you always smell like Subway, if you get what I mean. It’s just this weird smell that never leaves your clothes or hair until you wash them… But after a while, you get bored with the same things for lunch, want something within walking distance and somewhat cheap and/or healthy. So that leaves me walking over to this Subway with coworkers to grab lunch. What frustrates me is that beyond the regular interaction of telling the people what you want, there is absolutely no customer service or personality. Several times before, the lady who takes your money doesn’t even look up at you or greet you at all. Otherwise, it’s the same old Subway you find everywhere else, but cleaner because it’s somewhat new.
