I left this past Saturday like I do every weekend for the past few years. Bagels in hand, I walked out the door and not until I was halfway home did I realize that I was overcharged and given a wrong order. I returned to Lox Stock to have my order corrected but when I made the suggestion that I should receive a full refund while still receiving my order, i was shocked to hear the words No. Semi-​outraged by the act of poor customer service I left with my money and Lox Stock & Bagels has lost a loyal customer.

You could never do better. Best on the planet! The staff is as friendly as can be, and the variety of coffees is unbeatable in the Hartford area. Best bagel is the everything. LITERALLY everything, all the way around the bagel, bathed in poppy, sesame, caraway, onion and garlic. Go there now! You won’t be sorry!

I still have not been able to find a better cheddar bagel than the ones from LS&B. I have been going to this place since they opened many moons ago, and in fact worked at the Granby, SImsbury (closed now I believe), and West Hartford locations. The bagels are always fresh and delicious — and now with their expanded offerings and «café» atmosphere, this place can’t be beat!

Went there this morning with my family and it was great. I really liked the garlic herb cream cheese on the sesame bagel. They had a variety of coffee and of course I had to try the snicker-​doodle! Loved it. My family and I will definitely be back for more. If ur looking for a good bagel joint, this is a good one.

Bagels are made fresh on site and are always delicious. The cheddar cheese-​topped bagel is a big hit, but I’m a diehard everything bagel girl. They tend to put way too much cream cheese on, and you can’t get egg whites because they pre-​crack the eggs into little plastic dishes (that they then microwave), but other than that, this place is great. You can get lunch sandwiches on a bagel, too. Yum! Their coffee is decent, but with a Starbucks a couple doors down, just go grab a cup there and get your bagel at Lox Stock.
