Be Medical Salon & Spa

I had a nice haircut there, but the spa was disappointing. The atmosphere is nice, and they’re pretty friendly, but the spa wasn’t as nice as others I’ve been to.
The spa waiting area was this open room where their staff members all walked by setting rooms up. Not what I would consider ‘relaxing’. I had an ok massage there, nothing special. But they had the heat on and it was just way too hot in there.
I also had a facial and that was the worst. The esthetician never once told me what she was applying to my skin– HELLO! I’m paying a ton of money and you’re not going to tell me what the hell you’re doing to my face?! I had to ASK her each time, «What are you applying?» and «What does this do exactly?» because she couldn’t do her job. She also didn’t have any knowledge of the products she was applying. When I asked her about them, she had to read off the label and was saying, «I guess it is supposed to do this.» What a dumbass. You know nothing about the products you use? I know more about skincare than this lady. When I get a facial, I expect them to explain what they’re doing, what they’re using, and what effect the products will have on my skin. Basically, be able to let me relax and not have to ask a ton of questions.
She smelled awful too. I had to lie beneath this woman breathing on me who smelled like a bag of doritos mixed with strong old lady perfume. Not the most pleasant aroma.
She also left for like 15 minutes and didn’t tell me when she was coming back. I almost overheated from the hot towel she had wrapped around my face.
I might go back for a haircut because I liked the girl I had, but I will not be returning to that spa.

The BEST Salon in town.
The price? Perfect.
I’ve had my hair cut here a few times and every time was a charm.
Their team is excellent! When arriving you are ushered into a waiting room (try to go to the one upstairs overlooking the salon, the chairs are super comfortable and good magazines), they’ll get you a beverage of your choice (coffee, tea, wine) and you can relax before your cut.
Stylists are super nice and really work hard to achieve what you want in a cut!
P.S The British secretary is too cute!
