We are from out of town and stopped by Rock and Road for a couple of bike-related items and adjustments. The staff was very nice and they had a decent inventory of needed items. We were helped by Rocky who definitely knew his stuff. He was very helpful and informative. The others were also great, but if you can, ask for Rocky!

This is a really nice place to get your bike fixed. The worker was friendly and fixed my popped tire while I waited. He also gave the bike a once over for free and assured me that the bike was in safe riding condition, which was nice as some places might try to strong arm you into needless purchases. Their selection of bikes is mostly high-end with an emphasis on giant brand bikes. I wish they had more used bikes though, as 900 $ or more is just not in my price range for a bicycle, even if it is really fast and awesome. But he did say he would have more used bikes during the summer, so it is probably worth periodically checking out. That said, based on the speed and quality of the work they did, I imagine this is a great place to buy a bike from. The other workers were friendly while I waited. The price seemed reasonable 30 $ for a new tire, inner tube and labor.

Great service. Lots of bikes to rent. I don’t know if it was a mistake or just their policy, but there was no charge for helmets, which I thought was a nice touch. Prices were about the same as another shop we looked at– less than $ 70 for the three bikes we rented(24 hours). We got two adult bikes and a «half bike,» which attaches to an adult bike for my daughter. We called two other places in town, and Rock-N-Road was the only place that offered this. It was much better than her having her own toddler bike with training wheels(which they also had), as she was able to keep up and we weren’t worried about her getting tired out. I didn’t really notice their selection for BUYING bikes or accessories, but I was very happy with the rentals.
