Started the new season where they left off. Very tender beef, the perfect amount of horseradish and more sweet potatoes than I could eat. Only problem was that it was too cold to get a milkshake.

Dinky and dank little shack with bees everywhere that bother the hell out you, but the ice cream options are astounding and amazing and the beef on weck delish! Workers are a bit impatient, but with as many options as they have I guess I can’t blame them.

So me and my fiancé where driving to one of her places she works for and as we were driving into grand island we seen this small little ice cream place that I guess also sells meat. So we decide to stop and honestly I wish we would of just continued on and kept going down he road. So when you pull in the place was loud and you can hear teenagers screaming obscenities. when you walk in to where you choose your ice cream we were met with an extremely run down what seemed hallway. they do have a lot of different flavors to choose from but it’s nothing you can’t honestly get at tops for the same price and get an entire gallon we paid ten dollars for two medium ice creams which is insane to me because I’m sorry the portions were so off. My fiancés was small and mine was way to over full so much it tipped over two seconds after they gave it to me it was a mess to say the least. The customer service agent like straight up didn’t say a word it was so weird she just looked at us in a way of asking what we needed so I asked for a hot fudge Sunday and she asks in two words«peanuts? Whip cream? I specified just whip cream and guess what was in my ice cream? unbelievably they screwed that up and there were peanuts in my whip cream lol it’s almost laughable… Seriously I laughed but didn’t complain. Then come to find out i didn’t have to get vanilla ice cream I could of chosen something different but do you think they would give me that Chance? Absolutely not. So when we went to pay we got out our debit card and we were met with a hand she put her hand up as to say they don’t take credit we need cash unreal who in 2015 doesn’t take a card especially if it say they have been around for twenty years. Your business is so bad that you can’t buy a credit card machine… Come on. Overall this was a terrible experience getting ice cream I love ice cream but next time I will just continue to the next place let this one willow away in its own despair of generic ice cream and terrible customer service honestly the only good thing was when I asked for napkins this guy said absolutely and gave me a huge stack and then asked is there anything more I can do for you? He deserves a promotion or a new job elsewhere someone take him from there he doesn’t fit in. If the owner is reading this you can do good business you need to train your employees better customer service you need to definitely do a face lift and create some different ice cream that can’t be bough anywhere else… Oh and the. Obviously start taking credit cards.

Just your average par ice cream place. Prices average for this day and age I suppose. You go into an outdoor hallway basically and place your order… My boyfriend got done ordering and the girl just said nothing, didn’t ask what kind of ice cream on his sundae or «anything else» … Just stared at us like we just landed from outer space. I swear she had no clue what was going on. So I then started placing my order since I thought she was never going to ask me. They in the process bring out my boyfriends, piled high and a frickin mess. Not to mention I didn’t get the opportunity to ask for it to go not did they bother finding out before making the order… I didn’t even pay by the time they had it done. Then I hand her my credit card. She just looks at it and stares again. I was like… «do you take credit?» She said«no only cash» … Ok be nice to know prior to ordering since I never carry any on me. Or a sign or something so I wasn’t completely clueless. Luckily I had some this time. I asked for to go lids finally so they handed one to my boyfriend and it didn’t even fit over the ice cream. They grabbed mine and smushed it on there, making the ice cream basically run down the sides. Was a giant mess! I was just in the area, wasn’t my cup of tea. Would care less if I ever go back, which I probably won’t…unless it’s only to try the roast beef.

My family and I come here about 2 – 3 times a month during the warmer months, and I have yet to be impressed. The ice cream/custard here is very, very average. You can get it anywhere else you go. The food is below average but that doesn’t include their highly raved Beef on Weck that I have yet to try. One thing they need to work on: customer service. They have the grumpiest employees here, you walk up and say hello paired with a smile and they just ignore that and go ahead and ask what you want, if you ask any questions about a menu item, you are likely to get the driest response or a one word wonder. This really turns me off from coming here. Another thing, they don’t clean at all. Forget the outside, go to the inside seating, filthy. And also their working space doesn’t look to be too great either. Two star experience, but an additional star for location.

My kids and I got ice cream and custards, which were delicious. However, their cleanliness is a little on the gross side. We tried to sit outside, but there were bees everywhere(attracted by our ice cream, I’m sure). No big deal. So we moved to the covered area in back to escape them. Well, I saw mice in there. And they didn’t seem very afraid of us, scurrying in and out of the covered area, holes in the wall and behind the random game machines back there. Plus there was a gunky feel to the floor. I guess I’ll be back for the custard, but it will definitely be to GO.

Hands down the very best Beef on a Weck I’ve had in the Buffalo area — and trust me, I’ve tried many. This is a Custard Ice Cream stand that you order carry-out or eat on picnic tables — so don’t expect a restaurant. The sandwiches come in many sizes, and you can ask for a cup of aus jus to dip the sandwich in. The beef is sliced thinly and is medium-rare to medium. The kemmelweck bun is slightly crunch and just enough salt and caraway seed. They got all the components right. Oh, their ice cream items are wonderful, as well.

Five star review for the best beef on weck in Western New York. Fries are great too. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and ice cream are good but the beef is the real magic here.

Yum… Love the Beef(on Kaiser), the curly fries, with a ton of vinegar and ketchup. Add a milkshake, or take it home, and enjoy a cold beer with it. A must stop when visiting the sister on G.I. Go!

Good Beef on wick, I like the onion rings and a great place to get custard on a nice summer day.
