Bought a guitar here today after spending a week looking at local music stores and even a few pawn shops. None compare to Back Porch. Serious guitar people here, from the owner down. All lovely people, well informed on their products and actually talented players as well. The guitars on the wall are generally tuned and those with onboard electronics have batteries. Ready to demo. The other guitar stores in GJ evidently don’t care so much. The humidity controlled room for the acoustics also speaks volumes about their concern for these instruments. Even Guitar Center gets this. Prices were standard and some discount available.

Palisade, CO
Great selection of instruments (including guitars, basses ukes and drums), They will work with you if you can’t find something. They also will do setups on guitars and restring them. Drawbacks include the fact that it can be hard to find the parking lot if you aren’t familiar with the area and is a bit small.

Hard to find but great store. Good selection of high end acoustic guitars.
Best music store in GJ
