What can you say after 30 years with Qwest/Centurylink? I lost 20,000 dollars on Qwest stock and still liked them! Centurystink — not! I went from $ 11.00 a month for internet at less than 1.35 speeds to $ 50.00+ a month for centurystink! I locked in at $ 29.95 for phone and internet for 6 years — was their advertising. Then it was $ 49.95 for 7 years. Locked in! They never stuck to that more than a few months, then the bill would crawl up. I complained for over 2 years while being overcharged every month. Every three months I got the same story: I will fix it give it a few months to show on your bill. For over 2 years! Never fixed the pricing. Never to return any money! I started dumping my bundle. If you are late with one payment they shut the bundle down and then surcharge for each one! Now I am hit with $ 95.00 monthly for just landline and internet now at .65! Half my phone bill are taxes and other mysterious charges. My goal is to be CL free! Even the FCC is tired of complaints about them. We need regulations on these companies especially when they are the only one we have access too.

Terrible internet service. Our modem is junk, we asked for a new one and they won’t send one. You have to pay even though their modem is what failed. We’ve been with them for 14+ years and have given over $ 15,000 and they won’t send a free modem! Stay away!

Although we pay $ 50 a month for 12 mbps in Delta, Colorado, we regularly get a speed of about 0.3 mbps. Complaints to the company yield no response. Customer support says our area is choked at 1.5 mbps, but we can pay an extra $ 20 a month to increase that to 3 mbps. Basically a bait and switch tactic getting customers to pay for way more than what they receive. Look elsewhere for quality internet service.
