David Cale and his team are thorough and remarkably professional. Best exam ever in a lifetime of wearing specs.

Dr. Cale is the best! Incredibly professional, courteous, and caring. In this day and age it’s rare to find someone who will really take the time to treat you as an individual and listen to your needs. We need more docs like him in the world. Oh – and his staff is great too. Highly recommended.

Hell would freeze in July before I would allow these people to touch me. On October 30, 2014 I lost one of the lens to my glasses. A credit card I have only for medical purposes listed Bookcliff Vision as one of nine Grand Junction providers. I called several providers, including this one, asked pertinent questions and collected information. One question for each provider was the cost of the eye exam, a perfectly reasonable question. Fees ranged from about $ 50 to about $ 80. The snooty, snooty woman(Dana?) at Bookcliff Vision stated that their exam was at least $ 116 and could be as much as $ 165. When I asked this woman why Bookcliff Vision is so much more expensive than everybody else — including the well known, franchise qualified providers — she became enraged and basically said that if I didn’t like their pricing, too bad for me. The woman was rude and combative. Is this REALLY what you want from a medical provider? Predatory pricing, anger from the help and inability and unwillingness to provide answers to legitimate questions? And the core question is still unanswered: WHY is Bookcliff Vision 200% to 300% higher than everybody else in town? The answer is pure, unadulterated«screw you» greed. I challenge the people at Bookcliff Vision to answer these concerns. Betcha they won’t.
