We had good high hopes based on other reviews, but alas, it was not to be. I ordered the vegetable chau chau noodle dish, which was quite bland. The vegetables consisted of about 90% chopped cabbage and specks of carrot, broccoli and a possible, though unconfirmed, sighting of a small piece of cauliflower. My wife had the chana masala, which tasted unlike any we’ve had before. It almost had a mac-and-cheese quality to the sauce. Staff were polite, but not very attentive – though there was a street festival going on outside the place, which was stretching them a bit. Would not recommend based on our experience.

GREATFIND! I am not from around the area and I was a little skeptical about this place but the food was amazing. Very authentic Indian food. I came back a second time during my short business trip for lunch. Even their lunch buffet was great. It is very hard to come across genuine good quality food. I will definitely be back.(P.S. The biryani and naan are the bomb)

Home cooked style Indian food. I ordered chicken biryani and raita which was excellent. The staff is very friendly.

. The special with an appetizer, naan plus An entrée is the way to go. All the food I tried tasted really homemade and fresh. I sampled the chicken tikka and lentils, plus paneer with onions and peppers. Nothing was overly greasy. will come back again.

Very good food with friendly staff. They have wonderful breads and the Chicken Tikka Masala is a favorite. Nepal is supposed to be the land of colorful diversity, but the atmosphere at this restaurant is nothing special and the décor is somewhat bland. The food, however, makes it all worth while.

What a find on our road trip! We had the vegetarian thali and tofu masala with onion kulcha and were impressed with the flavor. Happy to find a vegetarian place in a small town. Owner came up to us to make sure we were happy and made small talk — nice town!

I totally fell in love with this place. I love the atmosphere here, the service was great and timely. They answered all of our questions because some, including me, in our party never had this type of food before. I had the Chicken Korma which came with rice and some bean dish and something that I believe was chutney or similar. My meal was perfectly delicious and I asked for a bit of heat and it was perfect. I went here with a group of 5 and all of our meals were fantastic. The Naan that my husband ordered was also fabulous. I can’t say enough positive things about this restaurant. We will be back.

I’ve eaten a fair amount of Indian food and was not impressed by nepal. Have been to the buffet 3 – 4 times and each time it is underwelhming. The selection is small, the food is cold and lacks flavor. The naan is also unimpressive as it is doughy and the wrong texture. Better luck with namaste nepal in Orchard mesa, which is an awesome place and worth the drive.

This is my second or third time here. Love this place. I mountain bike in GJ-Fruita several times a year and we try and come here as often as we can. Such great food and wonderful flavors. Love it! I had some Naan and some tofu curry. The naan was yummy and flavorful. The curry was spectacular and I loved the presentation! Eat there! You will love it!

Amazing!!! We weren’t expecting the food to be this delicious! Chia tea, sampler platter, meat momo, and naan made the perfect end to a long shopping day. Great ambiance and friendly service to boot. Highly recommend if you’re near by, and be wiser than us by leaving room for dessert.

The food was a solid 4 stars. I had the Chicken Korma which was very mild. I imagine it would make many palates happy. I was pleased that it came with a side of spicy sauce because alone the korma was a bit too mild for my taste, but it was rather good. The dish also came with rice and a stewed vegetable side. The vegetable side was not bad, but it was rather bland. The naan was light and delicious. I would recommend this place to a friend.

I highly recommend this place. I have eaten here twice now. Both times, the service was sufficient to very good. Prices are great, the quality of the food is excellent, and the staff is friendly. If you like hotter Indian food, I would recommend saying hot-to-extrahot. Not much else needs to be said. It’s a great place, and I’ll be a regular.

So my husband has been trying to get me to eat Indian food for 12 years, but every time I even went near it, it was always too«weird» for me. Well some family was having lunch today at this restaurant and I didn’t want to be left out, so I decided to tag along. The«all you can eat» lunch buffet was so affordable that I decided it was time to make myself do what I tell my kids to do so often… Take some«brave bites!» Lo and behold, I realized that I LIKE Indian food! I don’t know if I like all Indian food, or just the food at this restaurant, but there was some truly delicious stuff here!!! They had this chicken in a pinkish buttery sauce that was UH-mazing! And yes the Nan was great. Also they had egg rolls and some noodles that seemed more like chinese food that I enjoyed. Just goes to show you, you should follow your own advice!

RACISTOWNER/EMPLOYEE! I am a little late in writing this review(by 3 years :)) but better late than never. I had forgotten all about this restaurant and the racist owner/employee(middle eastern or afghani) until yesterday when we were driving from Utah to Colorado with my in-laws and this was the only Indian restaurant around that we could go to. So we went there and everything that happened 3 years back came back to me as I saw the restaurant from inside. Had I written the review back then, we could have avoided the latest experience we suffered. You can read my husband’s review on that here: I asked my husband to leave the place but he just told me that I am being paranoid and was over-reacting. So I thought may be I am being paranoid, but still asked my husband to just take the food to go while I told him what happened 3 years back when I was here with my parents. Here’s my story — I was on a similar road trip with my family — my brother, his wife, our parents and also my sister-in-law’s parents. Again, it was pretty late for us to find a place to eat Indian food, and everyone was very hungry. So we found this place on Unilocal, and decided to go for it because of the good reviews. But it turned out to be a nightmare! We were greeted by a very angry-looking employee, who was apparently angry only at our particular group, but was very polite and cheerful to the rest of the customers sitting there. We were too tired to mind, so we just ordered our food anyway. After some time when the food had not yet arrived, my brother just enquired politely if our food was on the way and if they could bring just the appetizers if they were ready so that we could start munching. To this, he snapped back saying that they were working on it, in a tone that was extremely insulting and a very angry/condescending look on his face — as if we had committed a crime by asking or we were not paying for the food. After this, we just kept quiet as we didn’t want to create a scene with our parents there. After we were done eating, we told the parents to go wait by the car. Me and my brother stayed back to talk to this guy. While paying the bill, we asked him why he had shouted at us for no reason. To that, he started shouting at us even more. I don’t know if this guy owns the place or just works there, but he has a very visible hatred towards Indians. This could have been forgotten as just a one-time incident. But the exact same thing happened again yesterday and that confirms the fact that he hates Indians. Ironic, because he serves Indian food all day! Please let us know if there is any legal action that we can take to make sure nobody else goes through this terrible insulting treatment. Also, this guy deserves to be taught how to treat all humans equal.

RACISTOWNER/EMPLOYEE. Indians Beware… Owner/employee hates you. I am from India and this is my review. This is the guy who looks like he is middle eastern/afghani, has a mustache. Not sure if he is the owner or an employee but this guy hates indians and talks to them in the most insulting manner. I have never seen a restaurant employee/owner talk in such condescending manner to anyone. Dude, we are paying for it and deserve some humanly treatment. Went there with my aged parents as this was the only indian restaurant around and got such insulting treatment on every small and genuine query. I asked how long it would take for the food to get ready. Note that I asked the waiter politely and was a genuine question. This question was not even directed to this guy(looks middle eastern/afghani but not sure), but he just shouted at us without even stopping or making eye contact… just as he was walking somewhere. «yea its coming». I cannot write up the tone in a review, but it was extremely insulting. Anyway, I had ordered one veg and one chicken biryani to go. I asked which one was vegetable biryani and which was chicken biryani. It is a simple question with a simple answer(although it should have been noted on the to-go box in the first place). I asked this question to the waiter, but again this guy jumped in, just opened food wrap around the container, opened the lid and told me: «you see vegetables here, so this is vegetarian biriyani» «you see the lid is tight, so no leak» «any other question?» Can anyone understand if there a need for this condescending behavior? If I had not been with my aged parents who as it were extremely tired by the end of the day in the extreme Utah heat, I would have made a bigger deal of all this treatment. We just wanted to take our food and get out of there ASAP. On the other hand saw this guy was sucking up to people of all other races as if he was going to get a dog-treat when they leave. I have been in the USA for 8 years and never before have I been treated so badly. Ironic to think that we became victim of such racism by a guy who sells Indian food for a living. If anyone knows if I can take any sort of legal action against this guy, please let me know. I want to do my best to make sure others don’t have to suffer like we did. - Nikhil PS: No food review as we threw away the food since I wasn’t sure what this guy would put in the food for people he hates so much.

I could eat here 3 times a week. Lamb Korma extra spicy, saag paneer, and samosas are a must along with naan. The service is a little slow but I wouldn’t even deduct a star since I love the food. So. Much.
