This place is THEBEST. So many options and they even have sweet tea along with the soups they change out every day. Also everyone that works there is very friendly!!! Mmm

Someone recommended this place in town and I must have ordered the wrong things! The half sandwich was on a pretty dry bread with no apparent choice for wheat. Got the tortilla soup which I was not impressed by. Maybe some of their other soups are good, but my mistake for not sampling the options before(which they offer and May bring me back if I’m in the mood for soup). Service was very friendly which will warrant a second chance for this place. But I won’t be eating any sandwiches.

The food is good. Really good actually but yes it’s way overpriced. The staff is nice and the place is clean. Will be going back a lot.

Wow, this was awesone! Loved the selection, the variety and free tasting samples. Clean place, friendly, allergy conscious ingredients made it a perfect pick. I highly recommend it!

I was expecting something like Panera Bread, which is also a soup/salad/sandwich place. So there was a high bar set, but Zoup really didn’t measure up. The place was clean, and employees were friendly & quick. But the food was really disappointing. The soup I ordered was the Crab & Corn Chowder. Several kernels of corn, no crab, and the broth wasn’t rich like you would expect chowder to be. It was watery and rather salty. The bread on my sandwich seemed as if it was made the day before, chewy & stale. Overall I would say Zoup is not terrible, but its not more than average. —to the reviewer who compared these soups to the ones one could purchase at City Market, I agree.

If you are looking for soup, salads, wraps, sandwiches or cookies, look no further. Just an all around great place to grab a reasonably priced and freshly made lunch or dinner.

The restaurant was clean, staff was friendly, service quick, good variety on the menu, but the flavor of the food was only so-so, a little bland, uninspired. I had the vege-terrainean wrap and spinach tomato soup, both vegetarian choices. My girlfriend had a chicken toscana sandwich(or something like that). Not bad, but uninspired. I probably won;t go back — but they do get credit for having vegetarian choices, uncommon in Grand Junction.

Zoup is great! Cold, rainy day I had ginger butternut squash and turkey club sandwich, it was yummy. Zoup has hundreds of soups rotating through menus, bread, salad and sandwiches. Go to Zoup!

I used to eat at this place a lot, but over the months the quality has gone down and the flavors on the soups have changed. It’s expensive for what you get.

I was really excited when this place went up right down the street from where I work, but it’s just so-so. My main complaint is the price: I paid $ 10 for a bowl of soup and a medium drink. The soup is OK, but it doesn’t taste very fresh, and it’s certainly not worth $ 10. The best soup I’ve had there is the crab and corn chowder. I’ve also had a sandwich there, and once again, it isn’t worth the price. I’ve never had a salad there, so I can’t comment on that. Zoup is a good place if you really like soup and don’t mind paying a lot for it, but there are better places to get soup.

I ordered a cup of gumbo and a Southwest Turkey sandwich. The gumbo was excellent and the turkey was enjoyable. I appreciate that they give free samples of all the soups. The staff is cheery and efficient.

I was hoping for more from this café, since it’s just across the street from my office. The good thing is they have a big selection of soups every day, so you can find one that suits your mood, and they offer free tastes. But they lack a bit of freshness somehow. And definitely not the place to get your salad. Stick with the soup.

So excited to hear that Zoup will feature a lighter menu for the summer months. I love their soup in the winter and really appreciate that I can sample as many as I want until I find my soup de jour! Especially like that the hearty bread htat does not melt away when I dunk it. Salad’s are great too and help keep my veggie count up! Love the selection and can’t wait to try the cold summer soups.

We had to clean our own table for a place to sit, while staff stood around in the back. Service was ok, soup was ok, salad was ok, but my bread was moldy and my daughter’s was stale. When I took the moldy bread back, he said it’s «part of the multigrain.» I said THAT is mold. It’s green and fuzzy. He took the bread and threw it in the trash can as hard as he could. It’s a marginal chain restaurant that needs exceptional staff in order to make it. Which they don’t have. The soup isn’t any better than the deli at City Market.

Friendly staff, weak food. The bread for the sandwiches was almost stale, the fillings for the sandwiches were very very very small portions. It was as if we were eating hunks of dried bread with a thin slice of meat and a piece of lettuce. We were very disappointed and probably won’t go back.

I had a soup, salad, and a sandwich. I thought my food was average, and this is a comparable spot to Panera Bread, but my side of bread was a little on the stale side, I don’t believe they make their break in-house, unfortunately. I heard that the lobster bisque was fabulous and this was coming from a woman who’s lived in Florida for the majority of her life(meaning she knows good seafood!). We had to wait for a spot to sit in as it was very crowded during the lunch rush… for this location, there are 2 small booths in the back. I thought the fact that you can try the soups before you end up ordering was a nice touch. :) For Junction, not bad.
