I ordered a BBQ pork sandwich with fries and for the price and amount of meat and fries is a solid deal for the win… Excellent taste… Good customer service and salad bar is fresh. For anyone coming to visit Texas for the 1st time, I recommend you stop by at Spring Creek BBQ.

We honestly only choose this place because everything else would have a long wait and this is next to hotel. It’s set up like Soul Mans BBQ. You grab tray and start with your meat choices then pick your sides. This certainly is not the best BBQ you will ever taste. I wouldn’t suggest taking your friends and family here. It’s like a Denny’s of BBQ. The chicken was a bit dry and I didn’t like the black pepper sausage. The potato salad tasted like the kind you would get from Sysco. The best part of my meal was the FRESH rolls! Wow they are delicious. They are warm and someone comes around and offers you more. The seating is open to you to pick a spot. So if it’s busy have a few kids pick a spot and wait while you get their plates. I didn’t have any issues with the service, everyone seemed friendly and willing to help you.

Salads are gargantuan! Get something with smoky barbecue – turkey, brisket, you name it. Then, when friendly staff comes ’round with a huge basket of hot bread, hold on to your fingers, ‘cuz«pipin’ hot» is an understatement ’bout how good it is.

Rolls, rolls and more rolls. This is what I love about Spring Creek is the rolls. I like to make little bbq sliders with the rolls. Did I mention the rolls? BBQ is average, sides are average and place is overall A-Ok and convenient. Fast service, quick food, and you get my vote!

Food is good but very expensive. You don’t get much meat and you’re done eating before you even get fresh rolls. They have a lot of kids working there so go figure.

I orders takeout for my mother and myself. We were both disappointed with our food, the price and portion size. The veggies were salty and very tiny. My bill was over $ 29 dollars for 2 people, who aren’t big eaters. The largest portion of food we received were the rolls(4). Our first and last time. Would not reccomend .

I been coming here for years and my family and i always order combination-double beef. Since it’s so delicious. Well my surprise the guy only gave us 4 slices! I told him we’re ordering double beef. To please put another half. He adds 2 more slices and throws us the plates all rude across the counter. I told the manager and he said i was right. Told the kid to add more and he did for about 4 plates. But we were a party of 7 and next to us was another big party. To avoid the argument i got pist off but took the food. But the last 3 ppl in our group literally got 3 slices. I was so mad. Literally spent over $ 140 with drinks and desserts and I’m disappointed that my family visiting from out of state didn’t get the experience i would expect. Screw this location. Food is good just like any other but the little boys handling the meat was an asshole. Hello mngmt. Your food is not free. Feel free to charge more but give us what we order/pay for. I been in here and i have not ate my food of how pist off i am. I literally felt like walking out but I’m not going to make us all get back in the car and go elsewhere. Please properly train your staff and bother asking customers how was their experience Because that would make me feel a lot better after going through a bad one.

Wow, pleasantly surprised! We live in the neighborhood but I always went elsewhere for my bbq for no other reason than I thought Spring Creek was of a lesser quality. I WASWRONG! I am a bbq snob and we ate here last night bc I wanted to try. So damn good! Like, I went into a happy bbq coma afterwards. Husband had the most beautiful loaded baked potato with all the trimmings including brisket. Son had ample kids plate with pork ribs. I had brisket with Mac n cheese and green beans. All beyond delicious. Sides are all you can pile on your plate. They have potato salad, coleslaw, corn on the cob, green beans and macaroni and cheese. Hot fresh rolls brought to your table every ten minutes or so. Peach cobbler was our dessert and it was amazing, fresh, crust to cobbler ratio perfect… with a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. I am loving this place. Total for meal was $ 45(including beer), so not cheap. But worth it. Eat here. period.

Good BBQ. Brisket is great, pepper sausage is spicy and good. The sides are Good especially the Mac and cheese. Love the Blue Bell ice cream and peach cobbler. Sauce is sweet and thin. Be ready for fresh rolls delivered to your table every few minutes. Always upbeat, usually quick to get your food.

I think this place is very convenient for good bbq. It’s not«the best» but it is pretty good. The service is very fast, usually upbeat and friendly. The menu is short which is fine, if anything I wish they had more sides to choose from. The fresh bread is awesome, they come around with it every ten minutes or so which makes it easy to over eat. I have tried all their meats, best is the brisket(not too fatty) turkey(juicy) and peppered sausage. Sides are okay, macaroni, green beans and a couple more. They serve beer and soft drinks, all good. I think this is my favorite spring creek location because it is clean and food is always fresh(it seems). All in all a good place.

This is my go to place for bbq. While it could be a bit more flavorful, it’s the best deal you’ll find for bbq around.

I have been eating here for five years. I had a beef plate today. It was completely flavorless, and I had to use a knife to cut the brisket. I can’t recall having to use a knife at any barbecue joint. Ever. Way overpriced. There are too many barbecue options in DFW to come here. Keep going.

Came in family for some bbq. Was greeted by friendly staff that took and made our orders. Food portions were big and plenty of sides to pick from. Roomy and clean atmosphere. Bread girl came by often to see if we wanted more bread.

Fantastic barbecue! My husband and I had the Pulled Pork Sandwiches with two sides. My husband had the barbecue beans(excellent) & coleslaw(okay) while I had the coleslaw & potato salad(not my favorite… little bitter). They make their own sauces which are phenomenal!

Got to say great employees, they were very observant and even bring us rolls immediately when we sat down. I got the combination sliced brisket and turkey. Loved the turkey, very juice and tender. Now the reason I love BBQ is the Brisket. This locations the brisket was rubbery and didn’t have the proper texture. The sides were ok. But the mgr and employees get a 5 and turkey get a 5. Sides were 3 but brisket a 1.

There are so many BBQ options in Grand Prairie. Good in a pinch, but I’d recommend one of the others.

Dad made me bring him here… being a vegetarian and gluten sensitive there is nothing for us folk which is to be expected at a bbq spot. BBQ was overcooked and dry. Total wase of money per my Daddy. He said the only thing worth eating was the cole slaw so he did just that. Ate the cole slaw paid the bill and left.

Décor: 4⁄5 –extremely spacious with tables that can accomodate large parties in excess of 8+ Service: 4⁄5 –friendly southern hospitality Food: 3⁄5 –I went with the Famous ribs dinner came in 5 pieces. The meat was tender but don’t expect the meat to fall off the bones like on a baby back rib. I like how the ribs came without sauce so I could add –pull pork was surprisingly moist and tender, I would get this next time –unlimited Mac and cheese and baked beans were alright, nothing to brag about –unlimited hot rolls though I could only eat one. They didn’t taste as fresh as I had expected but that’s because they were originally frozen

It was my 1st time eating here, and I was kind of confused. It’s like cafeteria style. I walked in, and was the only customer in line at the time, tried to read their menu, and felt rushed by the guy behind the counter. I told him it was my 1st time, and I needed more time. He just looked at me with this attitude like ‘lady, this is all we have to offer, I don’t know why it’s taking you so long to decide.’ He didn’t say that, but it sure looked like he was saying it in his head. I finally went with the lunch combo of 1 meat and 2 sides. Brisket– dry. not very flavorful. Sonny Bryan’s is much better. Mac n cheese– tastes like any other mac n cheese from a barbeque joint. Can’t decide if those are better than the ones from a box. But definitely Panera’s mac n cheese beats them all. Rolls– were delicious. Nice. Fresh. Warm. I was told their sides are unlimited, but I wasn’t clear on if I was able to go back for the sides later? Or was I suppose to help myself the 1st time around? I heard their ribs are better. Now why didn’t I try that in the first place? Who knows. Would I go back? Yeah, to give their ribs a try.

I’m an ATL boy that loves BBQ but Georgia BBQ leans towards pork than beef brisket. Texas BBQ is slanted towards beef brisket than pork. How did Spring Creek BBQ do? Honestly, I really liked it. I was never a big fan of beef brisket in the ATL but the way the seasoned it, marinated it, and the fact that it was tender made it sooo delicious. And it helps that the Spring Creek BBQ is super tasty as well. Even the Texas style, dry ribs were delicious. Reminded me of Chinese style ribs but with black pepper added to them. I would definitely come back here and eat some more BBQ! Go Texas!!!
