I probably get takeout from here way too often, but for good reason. The food is always consistent, the wait is never longer than 30 minutes and it’s beyond reasonably priced. I actually prefer Erb Thai Express to the Erb Thai on Wealthy. I usually get the peanut curry noodles with chicken. It’s a generous amount of food with great flavor.

I wanted to like this place, but I just don’t. My husband and I were excited to find a Thai restaurant nearby when we moved to the neighborhood. I have had a lot of great Thai and this is pretty decent yet I was super disappointed in the portions: too small and not enough sauce. In my opinion, the sauce of a yellow curry should be enough to moisten the rice, and then some. Instead, I found myself with a big ball of rice and very little of everything else. I will not be back.

The hours of operation are so limited — for example, they don’t open until 5 on Saturdays — that this place isn’t as convenient to visit as I had hoped when it opened up in my neighborhood. I haven’t dined in, but I’ve gotten takeout several times. The food is okay, but prices are a little higher and portions aren’t as generous as other comparable places.

I have eaten at the Erb Thai on Wealthy street many times. It’s never really been my favorite, dishes have been over-salted and not as good as other Thai places that I frequent. However, I got takeout from Erb Thai Express last night, and it was amazing! I got my usual, the curry Pad Thai. I get this dish at almost every Thai place I visit, it’s my favorite! I ordered the larger portion for an extra $ 3. Their regular portions are just lunch portions. I got it with chicken, medium spice. The sauce was delicious! It was super flavorful and I could taste the coconut milk in the sauce. I like a lot of sauce on my pad Thai(which I find is usually not the case at most Thai places)… this had a TON of sauce! There was a really good amount of perfectly cooked chicken, too. Super tender and moist. I wish the dish had more veggies, but you can always add more for an upcharge. The spice level was perfect too. My boyfriend got the peanut curry noodles, another favorite dish of mine. He loved it! I am so excited to have found another Thai place that is super quick and close! There are several tables and a couple of booths in the restaurant. I wasn’t sure if they were a dine-in place due to the«express» name, but there’s definitely a dining room there. Unfortunately there’s no drive through :) I will be back for sure whenever I have a Thai craving!

I ordered 6 dishes the other day to split with some friends. 1 of them was good. The garlic noodles. The rest were all pretty meh. It’s probably a nice convenient place to pick up an order of combination fried rice in a pinch. But a lot of the dishes come across more chinese buffet than Thai bistro.

My experience here was just ‘ok’ & not anything to rave about. The dining area was clean. Portions of food were small, and I felt like I could have eaten more than what I had been served. Even the spring rolls were tiny. Taste of food was good, though. Service was lacking, got part of our order wrong & charged us for something that we didn’t receive… Not sure that I’d return.

I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had here. Best massaman in Grand Rapids. Love this place.

Terrible service. They have messed up my order every time I’ve been there. The last time they lost my order and couldn’t find it. Eventually they found it, but it was a real hassle. But the worst part was that the staff at the desk couldn’t have card less.

I had lunch here today and it was excellent. The dining area is clean, the staff was friendly, and my food was prepared very quickly. I ordered the vegetarian green curry with tofu and it was excellent! A perfect blend of spices and veggies and the heat was just right. I will definitely be back!

Not happy! I have been craving fresh spring rolls for weeks. I saw Erb Thai express and got excited, finally my craving will be satisfied, NOPE… The place was clean person at the counter was very nice. Got home and my spring rolls were 99% iceberg lettuce with a few tiny pieces of carrot and a few green onions no cilantro or cucumbers as described in the menu! Can’t believe I paid 4.50 for rice paper filled with lettuce. I’m so sad I had high hopes. Well for a positive note the dipping sauce was great
