I had breakfast at the Fleetwood Grub & Pub and I had the country fried steak and eggs. It was pretty good. I actually wanted corned beef hash and eggs and they were completely out! Darn!

We will never will go back. Very poor quality food, do not get anything all you can eat. Waitress acted like she had better things to do then wait on our table.

It is still called Fleetwood Bar & Grill. The exterior looks like an old Diner! The interior us a Mish mash of styles. It is very clean and inviting. I ordered the BBQ Sampler Platter. Which has ribs, wings, and chicken tenders on it. It was all well above average. Nothing was great, but it was all good. In fact I thought the ribs were better than Logan’s. Had a Chocolate Shake for dessert and it too was well above average. Maybe not a home run but a double is a good play. Somewhere between 3 ½ stars &4.

Ok so I came here tonight around 9 with 2 of my kids to grab a «quick» bite after a long day we were sat at a booth close to the door. After sitting there for 15 minutes and thinking my son was playing in his water I felt huge drops fall on me. I look up to a hole in the ceiling. I get up to move when I should have just left but our food was coming out and the kids were hungry. Server is told about the fluid coming from the ceiling and just says«ya our a.c. has been acting funny» so this was known ahead of time and we were still sat here? There was no apology or acknowledgment just meh I should have just left ya know after getting water or Freon in my 450 Michael kors myself and my 4 year old. But again alas the kids were hungry. Kids had chicken strips and pancakes respectively. Hard to mess up pancakes were huge chicken strips again pretty impossible to mess up and they were very decent in size. I got the Greek chicken wrap. As described in the menu it was supposed to contain grilled chicken. What I got was frozen chicken strips that had been thawed. There was no way the chicken was fresh. It looked like McDonald’s chicken. It threw my whole meal off almost as much as my warm fries when we were the onlyb3 people in the dining area there was a party of some kind on the patio but they weren’t ordering food. In fact they were just hanging out drinking along with some of the servers and kitchen staff.(nice touch) I’d also like to add it was nice of another server to bring my Kids pieces of cake from said party but then proceeding it by licking her fingers in front of us from the leftover frosting and sticking out her tongue to show the blue hue the frosting left behind was not appealing. I really wouldn’t have been surprised if she was intoxicated Cake went in the trash when we got home. End of the day if I hadn’t been exhausted I would have went home but my kids needed to eat as did I. I just won’t be back here. The menu looks appealing but is misleading and the service is seriously lacking.

In the interest of full disclosure, i am in the restaurant business, as a chef, so i am generally unimpressed with the everyday run of the mill premade crap that so many restaurants seem to be content with slapping onto plates instead of cooking fresh food from fresh ingredients. But this place was great from the second we walked in the door. 5 of us at 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon, stinking and sweaty from moving my daughter into her new apartment, we were greeted cheerfully by Bernita our server. She could tell we needed hydration and promptly blessed us with beer and diet coke. The place was clean and shiny, the service prompt and friendly. As I looked at the menu, expecting the usual array of bar chow, I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of inventive and unusual(in a GOOD way!) listings. They were running a special of 27oz. Sirloins for $ 19.99 which is a great price in case you haven’t been to a grocery store lately. Cincinnati chili spaghetti, hippie hash and a fantastic burger section with almost any ingredient you could think of as a topping. I ordered the meat lovers burger cooked medium, it was a «nearly» half pound patty topped with gyro meat, tzatziki sauce, lettuce tomato and pickle on a fresh, toasted brioche bun. I don’t know if they make their own buns, I suspect not, but this bun rivaled the house made bun from my own restaurant. The burger was a bit overcooked, but well seasoned and juicy. Absolutely delicious! The fries were fresh, hot and crispy and coated with a delightful blanket of Detroit style coney chili. Everything tasted fresh. My daughter got the smothered steak tips and loved them, her beau was totally into the new Yorker style hot dog and the Detroit dog, his dad had the fried perch. My son got the earls favorite burger. We were all very happy with the food. I snuck a bite of the perch and it had a great, crispy coating, not too thick, and well seasoned. The spiked milkshakes should not be overlooked, the banana cream was a favorite of my daughters. So thanks to the inventive chef who designed this menu, thanks to Bernita for stellar service and thanks to the proprietor of this great establishment for putting quality food on the plate. I will come back anytime I am in grand rapids! To all you lucky locals, get out and patronize this place!

Good selection of bar food and a ton of unique burgers. It was a little pricier than I expected, but they have a good happy hour and different specials everyday. Average craft beer selection, but had a few different kinds of whiskey and signature drinks. The burgers we got were a little dry and overcooked. It’s still worth a try if you’re in the area. I would go back.

This place used to be Fleetwood Bar and Grill. They slapped on some paint and put up a wall to hide the kitchen counter and now I think they believe they are fine dining. It used to be pretty decent but was never busy. Now under a new name it was the worst meal I’ve had in a while. I had the same thing I have had in the past but that was a mistake. The menu changed but some of the same items were on it. I ordered the smothered chicken thinking I was going to get the same thing as in the past. Boy I was wrong. It no longer came with rice I guess bad on my part assuming it did. The coleslaw that came with it was different and pretty gross. When the meal came out the chicken was very small and not like it was before. The gyro that came out for my dad was tasty but served in a basket. It is definitely not a hand sandwich but more fork and knife. You can’t cut on a basket so we asked for a plate. The plates that the smothered chicken came on were small and square so it made the appearance that you were getting more when in reality you got less. As we were trying to cut the chicken it was so over cooked you that you needed a saw to cut through it. As I was cutting it everything was falling off the plate because it was so small. Quite ridiculous. When asked how it was my mom let the waitress know and showed her how it over cooked and dry. They did try and rectify it by taking 20% off one of the meals which really was nothing. The owner came over and tried to make my mom a new one. There was no point since it took forever to get our food in the first place. We probably waited 30 mins before the food arrived. The the waitress tried getting us ice cream. At that point all we wanted to do was leave. Fine dining it’s not and maybe there is a reason they are never busy. We won’t be back.
