I’ve rented at this location multiple times. I have family in GR. The process has always been fast and friendly. I’ve had issues with specific rental cars, such as the power ports not working for my personal GPS; but folks here have always accommodated me and gotten me into a satisfactory vehicle. My last visit on 5÷29−6÷7 was handled by Alex who went above and beyond in meeting my rental needs. Good job. Thx.

It wasn’t the vehicle I had intended to reserve
However it was clean and brand new and everything worked great!
It drove great and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating as I was traveling by myself with a toddler and had a large checked bag, car seat and carry on. They pulled the car up for me and helped me carry my bags and car seat out.
The rental car had been priced very well and I was all around happy with my experience and would recommend to others to use this car rental service

After arriving from flight the rental center is close walking distance within the airport. The service desk was quick and provided me with options for the size car I had rented. Car was clean and return was simple. Charges were accurate to online quote and reasonable. Will definitely continue using Hertz for my rental needs, I’ve never had an issue.

I had a one-​way rental from Michigan to California. The agent whom I talked with on the day I was picking up the car was so friendly. She even gave me nicer car than I expected to get! The check-​in process was extremely simple and I didn’t feel like the agent was just trying to sell me a bunch of extras. It seemed like she genuinely cared about the customers she helped. I had a Kia Soul, and it was a very fun vehicle. Easy to drive and very comfortable. There were no issues with the car. The return process was very quick and easy as well. Overall, a great experience with Hertz!

Perhaps the sole representative was busy taking a nap or just hanging out in the closed office behind the counter, but the three people who waited more than 20 minutes for her to actually help the customers waiting were more than frustrated.
When she appeared, no apologies, no explanation, and seemingly no comprehension that her absence from her post might be problematic for those of us anxious to leave the airport and be on our way.
And, for the second time in a row, I had requested a car with SiriusXM and was not given one. Not necessarily a big deal, but coupled with the long delay, perhaps going to one of the other rentals (all of which were operating at full capacity and no wait) is going to be my choice next time.

Access to rental center is just across from main terminal. It’s so small everything is done manually, no electric board to show where your car is. Agents are friendly and process is fast.
Car I received was Chrysler 200. Agent warned me about the dial shift (good training Hertz) so there was no surprise when I got in.
Check in and out was smooth, very good option.

Good experience with ONE major flaw. If you plan on re-​fueling yourself at the end of the trip, do yourself a favor and take a snapshot of your «full tank» mileage BEFORE driving off the lot and when re-​fueling leave key in the ignition so you can stop pumping just when the fuel gauge hits the top. I left the lot with 305 available miles on Nissan I rented and when pumped upon return, miles went up to 427 on full tank. The guy at the desk gave me bs spiel about how it couldn’t possibly be true and I had no means to prove it. You are welcome Hertz for extra 120 fuel miles I gave you. I hate situations where I’m being made an idiot off, so I will not be back.

I had the best service ever here! I flew in from Florida to Michigan and a man behind the counter with glasses helped me out a lot! he gave me one of the best quotes and he was beyond nice!!! He went above and beyond to help me get a rental and drive to Chicago when there was a blizzard in Chicago! I would like to thank him for his amazing service! Thanks to him I will definitely be coming back!!! I also rented a Chevy Cruz with navigation and satellite radio with insurance for under $ 150!

Smaller airport and NO GOLD SERVICE. I am in the highest club and don’t even get recognized. Before you criticize me, I rent cars from Hertz over 200 days in a year. I have to beg for a snow brush. They don’t have people in the garage so you have to go back to the counter. I have rented cars the past 3 weeks and the gas tanks have yet to be full.
It is convenient to the airport but so are the other counters.

They charged me $ 122.64 dollars for fuel on a car that was returned with a full tank.
Took me 2 hours on the phone and 4 days to have it reversed. Fortunately there are many options when choosing a rental car company, and I will not be using Hertz again.

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. I never rent from Hertz but have been considering it… until I met the employees here. My travel associate, who rents exclusively from Hertz, prepaid for a car with the Never Lost system. The agent asked if we really needed the GPS. We said yes and he said we could upgrade to get a car with a GPS… REALLY? We said no, you should upgrade is for free since he paid for a car with a GPS. The other agent got crazy mad and told our agent «Do NOT upgrade them for free!» Their final offer was to have us wait until they got a car in that met our reservation. We told him waiting was not an option for us so he offered is a downgraded car at a discount. We took the final offer and, upon return of the car, found that the discount for the downgrade was not applied. Not only that, the charge was actually more than the contracted price.
Renters beware here!

This office does not want to pick up its phone, and calling the main customer service number leads to a dead end. I guess Hertz doesn’t understand the telephone?

This Hertz location is easy to get to — no shuttle bus ride required. Walk out of the terminal, cross the street, and enter the rental car garage and lobby for the rental car companies.
There is no Hertz #1 Gold Board here, but service is pretty fast. I had to wait a couple of minutes as the two people in front of me seemed to require some extra hand holding to get their rentals completed. But when it was my turn, I was at the counter for about one minute, had my keys and was on my way.
Returning the car was easy, pulled in, received my receipt from the Hertz agent in the garage, and was back in the terminal in a flash!

This Hertz rental car location is located within the airport. I’ve use it every time I visit my family in Michigan. I last used it over this past Thanksgiving.
Reservations can be easily made online. The desk is staffed late into the night and I’ve always received friendly, fast service.
The cards I’ve received have always been clean and reliable. It seems they run a good business as it always seem their counter is busy while other car rental desks next to them are dead quiet.
