Jets Pizza

I like Jets. Most of the Jets franchises are fairly similar in quality with some variation, but the pizza is good for a chain place.
The sauce is important and Jets gets it right: not too sweet (I hate sauce that’s overly sweet) and not too spicy (too spicy can totally ruin an otherwise good pie.)
The toppings are pretty generous and I love their pepperoni, which is typically toasted just right.
My favorite is the «8-​corner» pizza with extra pepperoni and feta. Greasy? Hell yes, but pretty dang good!
When I’m ready to throw caution to the wind, I get me an 8-​corner, deep-​dish pizza with extra pepperoni and feta and loosen my belt a notch!!!

It was ok, but nothing special. We had the hand tossed. It tastes slightly different from other pizza parlors, but I’d skip it next time.

Jet’s is just not good.
Seriously, what the hell IS this crap?
It’s barely better than Little Caesar’s, barely.

I’m torn on Jets. This visit was the best I had. The thin crust pizza is one of the best of the fast food pizza joints. The sauce is tangy and just the right amount of spice, the toppings were in a good quantity, enough to taste them, but not over powering. The price isn’t bad with their coupons they offer all the time.
Their deep dish is just a bit greasy for me. I always get a little gut ache after eating it. I took a few pieces home as a left over and didn’t finish them because I didn’t want that gut rot feeling again.

Pizza was okay, not good, not bad. Crust was tasty but sauce, cheese, and pepperoni left a lot to be desired. It actually tasted better cold the day later.
Jets bread was nothing to write home about.

It’s Jets, if you like Jets it’s awesome but if not what do you expect? This place has great deals but really I wanted to write this review for the guy (guys) manning the phone and taking orders. I don’t care if it’s fast food or chain pizza, when someone likes their job it shows and makes it way more of an appetizing experience to come back for. This Jets is one of the few places that deliver pretty much all the time to the surrounding areas. Hungry Howies doesn’t open till after four, Carlos is closed on a lot of holidays and other than Papa Johns you know they’ll always pick up the phone!

I like that I can navigate Jet’s website to order a pizza for noon at 10:30AM when I wake up for a glass of water. It’s a superior option when compared to setting an alarm, calling a business, and speaking with a human.

I’m going to share with you what I wrote when I wrote a draft on my phone so I would remember to rate Jets at some point. I may have been in not the best form for writing a review at the time, but lets be honest — this is my very truest of feelings about Jets:

That being said. Jets IS the best. When you are looking for the best greasy pan pepperoni pizza. I would stay away from the veggies and all that fancy stuff. I love that as much as the next person, but when you want a big, greasy, crunchy, delicious pizza, just get pepperoni on it and enjoy. [I recommend the 8 Corner Pizza all the way!]
The only complaint I have is that twice they forgot to bring sauces that we ordered and paid for and once they didn’t bring our large Jet’s Bread that we ordered and paid for. I had to not only tell the delivery driver that he had to go back and get it, I had to call the store to tell them what was going on because he didn’t know what to do. Yes, the delivery guy was new, but no one at the store even said sorry or anything. They acted like I was rude for making him come back. Listen, I was a delivery driver for a bit in college. Yes, it sucks, but that was half our order! We wouldn’t have had enough food to feed our friends that were over. Sorry you forgot it, but seriously, we do want that order of Jet’s Bread!
If this was a nice restaurant and not a greasy pizza place their sub par service and memory of what should be brought during delivery might bother me, but whatever. Its a pizza place, they usually get us our order pretty quickly and usually correctly, and their pizza is just so darn good!!! Definitely give it a try…

Their specialty pizzas (BLT and Hawaiian) are pretty tasty. I would recommend getting the square pizzas. If I were rating on food alone I would give them a 4.
The service on the other hand deserves nothing more than a 2. Last time I ordered, it took them over an hour to get it delivered. When I initially called to place an order for delivery, I was told 30 – 45. After an hour I called again to check on the pizza, and was told it usually takes 45-​hr. That’s unacceptable.

I wanted to add that the customer service is excellent. Usually people will cry when things don’t go as planned but if you chill out maybe your kharma will be rewarded.
Had an extra long wait for my pizza one night and was given a free 2 liter, cool beans.
Another night, my order was accidently made as a thin crust so they made the one I actually wanted, gave me BOTH pizzas AND a pop. That’s boss.
