This Kmart is not a good one. The tv selection is poor. I needed a cheap tv and thought it would be better than meijers next door, wrong. I wish I would have went to meijers as I could have got a lot better tv for $ 200. Today at Kmarts they charged me twice for a pillow. I only had 4 items total. I almost feel like saying«isn’t that like stealing?»

I remember when these used to be all over the place. Unfortunately it seems that this chain has become the weird untalked about cousin of Target. The items here are pretty similar to what you would find in any other chain store, but it just seems like the owners of the chain have given up all hope of ever being on top again. The store is sorely in need of some tlc, but I do occasionally find some good deals.

It is nice having an alternative to Meijer on occasion in the Plainfield corridor. This is one of our lives two Kmart stores in the Grand Rapids area, the other is on 68th St. SW at US-131. The store carries a wide range of merchandise and since Kmart was acquired by Sears, it now has many Craftsmen products. They have a fairly extensive selection of food items. Many items in the store are low priced, however, they do carry some more expensive items. You get what you pay for is good to keep in mind when selecting items at Kmart.
