So, my wife need surgery on her foot.
Dr. Anderson at Orthopedic Associates of Michigan set it up, using the Metro Health OAM Surgery Center in the Women’s Health Center off Michigan Ave. at Union NE, just a stone’s throw from Spectrum Butterworth Hospital Campus.
The facilities were a little confusing to find in the building (better signage needed) but once there, everything went smoothly.
The people were friendly and still professional. The surgeon and all key members of her surgical team met with her and with me before surgery. After, I talked to the doctor and recovery room nurse. Very efficient but we didn’t feel rushed.
All in all, a somewhat nervous occasion went very well.
