We found this hidden away chicken place after googling wing places to eat in Grand Rapids. This was the first suggestion that popped up on our phone. After reading several reviews, we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all with the good service and food servings, reasonable prices, and friendliness of the staff. I had the 3×3, which consisted of 3 pcs. of chicken(with my choice of bourbon sauce), and 3 pcs. of fish(perch). My husband picked the 6 wing combo with fries(he chose the medium sauce), and loved it. Since my husband had french fries, I opted to upgrade my side to the bacon cheddar cheese wedges(which were awesome) for a minimal extra charge. We will definitely coming back! They also serve frog legs, gizzards, liver, and turkey knuckles(not sure this consisted of though).

No corndogs? WTF? If Wing Kingz had corndogs they’d probably arrive pre-packaged, individually shrink-wrapped, frozen. That basically sums up what Wing Kingz food is; cheap frozen food that has been deep-fried into oblivion, and marked up 6000%. Burgers give you a bowel hangover the next day. Their take on a «Polish Boy» hot dog(for $ 4.99 sans side) is BBQ sauce and sauerkraut(all from a tin can — if this shit is homemade, the so-called«chef» should rethink their career). Also, it must be a requirement to be a curmudgeon to work there. Styrofoam galore. Honestly, I’d rather eat a McDonald’s McRib sandwich then anything at Wing Kingz; it’d be cheaper(& tastier) and come with fries and the packaging a paper by-product. Wing Kingz gets no love because they give no love. It’s apparent in the food. Skip Wing Kingz and hit up Burger King instead.

All around good wing joint. Staff was friendly, and service was around 12 minutes from order to pickup. The sauces are quite heavy, yet full of flavor. I had both Hot and Sweet Red Chili, served traditional bone-in. The Chili sauce was sweet and tangy, yet not too spicy. However, Hot was right on the money; not overwhelming but plenty enough spice to make your nose run. The wings are fried first and sauced after, and because of this the meat was a tad overcooked and dry. All around a top wing spot. I was going to give them a three, but there isn’t a whole lot of great wings in the area, so hopefully four stars will boost their clientele.

After calling on about five different occasions to place an order for delivery and receiving the same answer, «Our delivery guy isn’t here tonight,» I finally asked which nights they had a delivery person. The answer given me was that they haven’t had one for a long time. Starving and wanting to try their wings, I decide to be my own delivery boy. That was the service bit, now to the food. I got a meal order of wings and the first thing I see when I open the box is pale, limp, cold French fries. The disappointment caused is almost enough to make me want to stop while I’m ahead, however, I decide to press on. Much to my dismay, though as expected, the wings are drenched in sauce, cold, and not spicy despite my having ordered half Sweet Raspberry Pepper and half Spicy Garlic. The sauces were definitely not as royal as they were advertised and most likely purchased from a supplier like Gordon Food Service. I don’t even want to know where the chicken comes from. I was really wanting this place to blow my socks off but the experience left me wishing I’d ordered take out from Buffalo Wild Wings. The website is honestly the best part about this business and it doesn’t even have their phone number on it. This place doesn’t care about the quality of their product and I think this is going to put them out of business soon unless they do something to change it.

I just had Wing Kingz for the first time! Not only were they the biggest damn wings I’ve ever had they were also delicious. I had the Royal Heat which bordered on spiritual they were so hot. The flavor was tangy, spicy with an appropriate amount of heat for the hottest sauce they offer. Service was fast and friendly… I didn’t think it was possible but I like Wing Kingz better than BWs.

the seasoned fries were fun, and that they put seasoning on everything and threw in a bunch of sauces but i’m almost 100% they use msg and that is unfortunate. its a great idea, poorly executed. they definitely make everything to order, and if we find out they don’t use msg maybe i’ll change my rating. bonus that they’re open late, but really if you have choices there are much better fried chicken and fish places in GR.

I haven’t even eaten my food yet from this restaurant and I’m already a fan. Anyone who looks at their website and sees the logo will get it. It’s cheap, fast, and open on Sundays. Being that I’m mildly hung over, I don’t see that I will be having any problems. And when I say I’m mildly hung over, I’m lying. I’m extremely hung over and I want to die. Why else would I have looked at the website? Talking to a human sounds like a nightmare right now. Help.

After reading the reviews I knew there were two things I wanted… Honey BBQ wings and Fried Cauliflower. Either the guy didn’t hear me or they were out… but alas, no fried cauliflower :(Guess I’ll have to go back and try again. The wings I got were traditional… got a 9 piece without fries(½ lb of fries is too much for me)… got ½ Honey BBQ and ½ Kings Sweet and Spicy. The Kings sweet and spicy is closer to a sweet BBQ without much of a kick. The Honey BBQ was nice. The wings came out crispy fried, and soaked in sauce. This place is kind of a dive, but seemed to have a steady flow of regulars. 4STARS

This was my first time at Wing Kingz. They look like they have a lot of comfort food on the menu that would be great(I don’t know what a macaroni and Cheese wedge is, but it sounds pretty wrong and great). I just had wings. The wings themselves where plump and hot and juicy with crispy skin. Pretty much perfect. They have a good selection of sauces. I got Honey BBQ and Sweet Raspberry Pepper. Both where good, neither knocked my socks off. The Sweet Raspberry is a little too subtle, but I like where they where going with it. The Honey BBQ is fine. Next time I will try the spicier offerings. Also, the clientele was all over the map, which is a good thing. I’ll definitely try Wing Kingz again when I’m in the ariea and if I get the right sauce, I might move them up a star. I should say, this is a wing joint, it’s not a bistro, so the inside looks like the inside of a wing joint, not a tapas bar, so don’t gripe about the décor. Oh yeah! they sell cool aide on tap and you can get a suicide, which I assume is all the cool-aides mixed together. I had a diet coke though.

Well done. Congrats to the employees serving up great, fresh wings. I am no expert when it comes to wings but the wings cooks here are better quality than Buffalo Wild Wings a few miles away. These people cook them up fresh and they are nice and crispy. I really enjoy the variety of dry seasonings they provide. 5 stars. I will be coming back here often. Great job!

One bite and Satan dragged me down to wing he// My friend and I were looking forward to splurging on some wings during the superbowl all week long. I understand they must have been busy, superbowl sunday and all, but the costumer service was fine, it was the quality that lacked. The meat was processed, the wings were small, and there was almost more bread than meat. You would have guessed I was talking about McDonalds Chicken nuggets! The sauce was the best thing they had going for them, which is not saying much. It’s sort of like saying that the best thing Lance Armstrong has going for him right now is still having one sperm producing male genitalia. The worst thing about this whole experience was the bill. 46 dollars for 50 wings between 2 people(that’s including tip). Instead, I could have bought 4 Qdoba burritos, 2 huge Wolfgang’s breakfast plates(in Eastown GR, highly recommended), or saved my money and ate dirt. All three options would have made me more satisfied than Wings Heaven. Overall, I’m severely disappointed. Word of mouth was that WH was a better alternative than Buffalo Wild Wings. Famous Dave still has my crown for the best wings. Up next, Quaker Steak & Lube.

MMmmMMM fried cauliflower. Yes, I know it is a wing place so I should start out talking about the wings but I’ve got it bad for the cauliflower. A friend of mine said I have a problem. My favorite sauce I have tried is the honey BBQ. The bourbon was decent but my fave is the Honey BBQ. They have quite a few different sauces along with many different sides(other than that amazing cauliflower) from fried mac n cheese to potato wedges, fries, etc. And they have several different flavors of Kool-aid«on tap». I can’t forget the fried cheesecake bites. Freakin awesome. My sister has told me every time I go to Wing Heaven I must bring her some cheesecake bites. MMmmmMMmm ym. Yes I know fried, fried, fried is bad, bad, bad but really it so oh so good, good good!

The best one is the location on Ann and Monroe. They fry the chicken till it’s crispy and put the perfect amount of sauce and seasoning. Other locations are not consistent, which is very disappointing. If you go to the Ann and Monroe location, it’s better than B-Dubs, Hooters, Quaker Steak and Lube, and WingStop.

Now it seems to me that the popularity of wings or as I affectionatley refer to them as «wangs» has risen in the past couple of years. I’m not sure of Wing Heaven’s backstory but wow. I know we have an addiction to Buffalo Wild Wings here and everyone says they or Hooters has the best wings. Lies. If you get a craving for some wings, I typically get boneless but try Wing Heaven. I promise they beat the other guys hands down. Carribean Jerk, Honey BBQ are my two go-tos but a recent trip there I was referred to the Garlic Parm. I stated I didn’t like BDubs garlic parm… and the cashier said«we are not BDubs» and man were they right. These are the best garlic parm… ANYTHING I’ve ever had. Try them, you won’t regret it!

This place provided yumm-o selection of wings for our New Years Eve Party. I think we have 10 different flavors of wings! I’m going to order some now for the super bowl!
