Having been here before, it took a good coupon to get me back in. From what I remember, the first experience was nothing short of depressing. The coupon I had was only for a website order and therefore take out. I had the time to study the menu before pulling the trigger. It was nice to see that they have spiced up the menu and added more tempting items. After mulling it over I decided to try their infamous Thai Hot Pot soup and their Mac n’ Cheese. On the Thai Hot Pot, I noted for them to make it «Xtra Hot». A quick 8 minutes later from the time I placed the order, I was walking out with it. That is crazy fast therefore there must not be much involved in throwing these things together. Ripping into the package, I was pleased to see everything was hot and all there. It was nice to find a couple sets of utensils, salt n’ pepper and a set of chop sticks. They also threw in a small container of extra hot dry chili /paprika seasoning. The container of seasoning was deliciously hot on its own and it must have been included with the request for xtra hot. I highly recommend asking for it every time since it really spiced up the entire meal, kicking it up to another level. The Thai Hot Pot was good and brought in some excitement that I would otherwise think you could not get from Noodles & Co. Yes, it is expensive at $ 9.00’ish but it’s worth a try at least once. I was actually surprised at how much meat was included in the soup. Several big chunks of grilled chicken. I thought the overall amount of ingredients was sufficient and the soup’s flavor was good. The Mac n’ Cheese was a disappointment. It was mostly comprised of a bunch of elbow macaroni and a dollop of cheese type substance in the middle. This left much of the macaroni naked and alone, never to get any cheesy love. Stirring it really did not help since the middle macaroni that had cheese on it was already cemented in. I figured a good test of time for takeout food is to see how it stands up to being re-warmed up. So, after a while I re-heated the Mac n’ Cheese up via microwave. Unfortunately this did not help. If anything it just plasticized the macaroni noodles. The cheesy ones in the middle had a bit more life to them so I ate what I could, thinking the whole time about exposure to plastic chemicals and its contribution to the cancer epidemic. One nice thing is the containers that you are given are nice enough to keep around for a bit. They seal up nicely and serve well for left overs. They say microwave safe on them but I cannot contest for them being BPA free. I do think putting them in a dishwasher dry cycle would be a mistake. Over all an OK experience, if I could I would give a 2.5 star rating for sure. Better than I remembered but still filled with disappointment and not screaming for me to come back. Maybe sometime I’ll find another ‘can’t say no’ coupon.

I’ve gotten carry-out from this Noodles 3 times now, and all 4 different dishes have been completely dry and borderline sauce-less. Nothing like some dry Pad Thai!

Ate here while visiting from out of town. I had the Thai Hot Pot — it’s life changing. I’ve been searching for a copycat recipe online until I can come back to GR. I won’t be back in Grand Rapids for another 2 months, but Noodle’s Thai Hot Pot will be the first thing I eat. I thought the prices were very good. The workers were all very friendly as well, but the dish/trash picker-upper guy likes to hover waiting for you to finish, which was weird.

I running with a solid four stars here. This is a national chain restaurant. The food is has always been good its not off the charts but definitely worth eating at if your hungry. I have not traveled the menu to much, I usually will get the spaghetti and meat balls or the Japanese pan noodles. I have never had a meal I disliked here. The place is always clean and the people have always been friendly. On a side not they do not let you tip them. Swing on in if your hungry its a kid friendly place they have mac and cheese.

Second visit to Noodles and Company was not as enjoyable as the first. I ordered the Thai Hot Pot… although it was very flavorful, the portion was quite small for the price tag. Overall, the menu is quite diverse and the service(order at the counter) is good. I also like the fact that they have the Coke machine which allows you to customize to your liking. I will probably go again given the location is very convenient to the airport hotels. but will not order the same item again.

Fantastic fast-casual pasta with reasonable prices and friendly staff. You can’t ask for much more than that

Always dependable for fresh food that taste good. Came here and had the Japanese Pan Noodles and hubby had Mac and Cheese. Indonesian peanut sauté and Bangkok curry are good too here.

First time visiting Noodles & Company so didn’t know what to expect. It was dinner time during the week and the place looked that way. Many of the tables still hadn’t been cleared, there were napkins on the floor, the staff looked like they had been through the ringer. I looked over the menu while standing in line to order and thought the concept was interesting. They were featuring a Thai Hot Pot Bowl, which sounded like it could be good, so I ordered it. I went and sat down, and waited. I felt as if they forgot about me because I could see people being served that ordered after I did. I also noticed the orders on the tv screen in the kitchen had all been completed, or so it seemed. It had been between 10 and 15 minutes at this point. I was just about to get up and walk over to the counter, when I noticed one of the servers talking to the cook in the kitchen and it was obvious they had figured out they somehow missed me. A few minutes later I was brought a large colorful bowl of aromatic coconut curry broth, filled with noodles, fresh vegetables, and a lime wedge, with a side of crispy bread. I wanted to take a picture but my phone had just died, so I couldn’t. I had initially thought the prices were too expensive, but when I saw what I got for it, I changed my mind. The meal was so incredibly flavorful, sweet and spicy, that worked so well together. I finished the bowl and was very satisfied with my choice. So apart from the first impression being less than great, I also wondered about the ability of the kitchen to portion consistently. I couldn’t see really well, but it looked as if the cook was grabbing noodles with his tongs to add to the sauté pan, which might work occasionally, but it would be difficult to reproduce this across the chain without having a more precise method of measuring to insure consistency. I will go back.

I was very excited to try the new Thai Hot Pot and ordered it togo today. While the flavor was good, I got about a bite of noodles(I had them separate the noodles and the soup since I was not eating it right away). I definitely thought it was not worth the money. You would think NOODLES and Co would serve more than 1 bite of noodle… There portions are not generally big, but this is just ridiculous

I’m a very happy momma! The staff here greeted us promptly, and then took the time to come around the counter to take my daughter’s order. She is 2. When the gentleman brought out our food, he also brought my daughter a rice Krispy treat on the house. So generous and made this outing one to remember. We will be back!

Wisconsin Mac is killer but the prices here are too high. There is no kids menu, so we end up spending more than we would at a better quality restaurant. The new pop machine is great and has bold new flavored. I always return but i will hold out on another star until there is a kids menu. Watching older people try to work the new pop machine is almost worth it

My noodles were slightly burnt and salty. Portions are a bit small. Staff was very friendly. A bit disappointing overall.
