They must’ve read previous reviews on Unilocal and have increased their number of staff behind the counter and were very courteous and extremely professional. I was looking for a particular 1911 and they didn’t have it in stock on the shelf, and the guy behind the counter was going to give me a quote on ordering it, after a few minutes he came out with the gun I was looking for and the price was the same as the lowest I could find online. I watched the staff deal with a guy next to me who obviously knew nothing about handguns in a very professional and courteous manner. The customer would have freaked me out due to his obviously not knowing the first thing about guns, but they did an amazing job informing and teaching the youngster. Will be stopping back in the future.

After having taken a class here (First Steps) and purchasing my first firearm here, I can say that these guys are really friendly, and they have a very large selection of firearms to choose from — for purchase and rental.
The range rules are very strictly enforced — which is a good thing for safety, though they don’t have a range officer on the range at all times, they do keep one in sight in the store.

At first I walked in and I was greeted by the door man who seemed pretty cool and he welcomed me in. I walked around to check out what they had with something quite specific in mind (which they didn’t have) an I soon noticed their prices are quite high. Primers for $ 4.49? Not a chance. Maybe living in WI has spoiled me but these prices are high as a kite, on everything. BUT they do have .22LR on the shelf, for about double what it’s worth… I did end up buying something for a decent price and they do have a ton of stuff and a ton of guns. I can’t speak on the range as I only shoot reloads and nobody in MI will let you shoot reloads apparently. But the people seemed cool an they were decently welcoming even though they knew I’m not from the area. If I lived in the area and needed something and didn’t mind paying about 10%-20% more than average I would be here for everything.

My last experience at silver bullet left much to be desired. At first the customer service was fine but soon spiraled downward. After the salesman learned I wanted to rent and shoot a firearm in the range and not purchase the firearm I had been inquiring about he became much less friendly and accommodating. After shooting in the range the clerk at the desk failed to return my ID, and I forgot that I had given it to him, I only realized when I arrived home 15 miles away. Now a little irritated, I drove back to secure my ID. I inquired with the clerk at the desk, this time a different gentleman who I believe to be the owner or at least a manager. I said,” My ID was never returned when I brought the rented firearm back.” He replied, «Then you owe me money (I had already paid)!» I was very much taken aback by his response, luckily the original clerk walked by and vouched that I had paid. My ID was given back without an apology or a thank you. That was the last time I shop at SB.

Good shooting range and gun selection. Unfortunately they’re on board the «price gouging train» for some firearms and selling above MSRP. Their prerogative but very opportunistic. I’ll give my business to those dealers that have held their pricing.

Good selection of firearms but terrible service. They never have enough people working behind the counter. They now have a take a number system but apparently they don’t use it all the time like today when I was in there. Three guys working behind the counter and I was the only person waiting and looking at guns in the display case and do you think even one of them could take the time to come wait on me, guess again. If you want personal protection ammo which is behind the counter and an employee has to get it for you so you will get it faster if you do mail order. I have bought many firearms from them and have been a member of their range 2d amendment club for several years but you just have to get used to terrible service. I will probably just order future guns over the internet and have them shipped to a local FFL holder to do the paperwork, faster and cheaper.

I walked in to this place not having a clue. I had taken a CCW class because I am a Realtor and need some extra protection. I found out that they would not even have let me take the class because I was too inexperienced. That was for sure because I did not know how to handle a gun. They explained there are basics classes to sign up for. I felt so at ease there and the people were extremely knowledgeable. I can not wait to take my class!

Awesome full service gun and knife shop. Great selection of merchandise, new and used guns + gun smith staff. The only then you need to look out for here is money flying out of your wallet ;-)

If you are interested in exercising your 2^nd amendment rights whether your interests are hunting, protection or competitive shooting, this is a place you need to know about. They have created the sort of facility that is comfortable for all levels of shooters. Classes are offered for basic knowledge and skill that are taught in an enjoyable fashion. The NRA pistol class is offered for those that would like a Michigan CPL. Not only are the on-​site instructors top rate, the attorney teaching the legal aspects is premier in the State.
Indoor shooting ranges offer opportunity for practice regardless of the weather and a large stock of new or used guns are available along with shooting supplies. They go out of their way to make everyone comfortable and no questions are stupid.
