I go to this Starbucks probably once a week. The service is always top of the line pleasant and FAST. I’ve shown up when their drive thru was full (I always go inside) and still manage to get my drink in less than 5 minutes every time. My boyfriend has a special order (dairy issues) and they never once have complained about it or messed it up. This Starbucks is the best!

With all the unique coffee shops in Grand Rapids I generally don’t go to Starbucks, but if you are on Alpine avenue you have to check it out. The staff are friendly, service is superb, and there is an incredible amount of seating available keeping this busy coffee shop available to numerous customers. Additionally, the drive thru is quick and is an easy stop right on alpine avenue!

I don’t usually go to Starbucks, but when I so, it’s this one. The customer service here makes it for me.
In the past, I would feel almost «attacked» by the employees overbearing enthusiasm, but, you don’t find that here. If only I could recall the gentlemans name that helped me. Kudos to you! He was friendly, helpful, and insightful, without the pushy-​ness or force.
I ended up going back their the next day to try the drink he recommended to me! A rarity for me. Way to go, Starbucks on alpine!

Best customer service of any of the Starbucks in town. Friendliest staff and they usually get it right. Gets kind of busy in the evenings but still the best one in town.

* Terrible Wi-​Fi, provided by AT&T
* Starbucks is a glass of ice water to people in hell
* The staff members are caring and personally invested in the success of the experience; if something is wrong, they will fix it.
* The worst part of the experience is being at the mercy of AT&T with their slow Wi-​Fi, it literally makes it difficult to accomplish anything.
* PC ordering system crashed multiple times; it seems strange for Starbucks to use outdated PCs.

This is my favorite Starbuck’s in the greater Grand Rapids area. All of the people who work here are friendly and go out of their way to remember my name and favorite coffee drink – venti decaf mocha with skim milk, no whip! They’re fast and efficient, too.
