Vip Nails

I have tried other nail salons, but this is by far my favorite. My daughter and I were there today and they did the cutest snowflake design for her. She is so excited to show her friends at school tomorrow.

I deducted one star for the bleeding appendage, overzealous arm massage (that occurred nearly an hour ago, but the reddening of my arms remain), and for having the shape of my feet (not exactly a controllable factor, darling) mocked. One star remains for cleanliness and another because after losing the last two hours of my life to the silent treatment of customer service I am hopeful the quality of the end result will make it all worthwhile.
I will be looking to refresh my shellac in a couple of weeks elsewhere. … Suggestions?

I had to add stars back— it’s been 2 weeks and my nails are still getting compliments. They look amazing! I guess one just has to suffer for beauty. While I wasn’t pleased with several factors, I have to be fair. I may go back.

I went and got the VIP pedicure with my friends. I had the best customer service Not only was it very clean and the price is worth it… my feet feel amazing. You need to go see Johnny he is very thorough! I will definitely be back.

Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. I took my girls age 10, 8, 8 and they were able to get them right back for their pedicures. They did a great job. One of my daughters messed up her nail because she bumped a table and they re-​did it no problem. They went out of their way to make sure their nails were perfect before we left. We will go back and highly recommend them!

I appreciate the fact that Kim was very thorough when doing my pedicure. She pays attention to detail. There is a bit of a language barrier so if I want something done a certain way I have to have another nail tech ask her for me. The shop is clean and quiet the times I’ve been here. It’s a little bit different from some shops I’ve been to where they seem to be doing 3 things at once. So I’m gonna stick with VIP nails for now. Maybe you will check them out too.

This newish nail salon is clean, bright, and they do a nice job. My daughter and I did a walk-​in and were able to get in immediately. Granted, it was a Monday afternoon, but we had a good experience. We each had a pedi and she had a shellac manicure. Good stuff and a convenient location near the M-​6.

Great place to get a mani or pedi for a good deal! They have separate spaces depending on the service which makes it nice and relaxing. They also offered my friend and I free beverages while we had our pedis. Nice little bonus are the $ 35 facials.

Great service. Walked in for a pedicure and eyebrow wax after reading other Unilocal recommendations. So glad that I tried it out and am now wishing VIP was in my neighborhood. The pedicure was great with a really good massage. The eyebrow wax was fast, painless and high-​salon quality. The shop was very clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

Today was my first visit to VIP nails. I was impressed by the cleanliness and professionalism right away. There were such cute pedicure chairs for young girls, I was very impressed! The woman who waxed my eyebrows and lip did a great job very quickly. The price was a great deal too. The only reason I deducted a star was that she went so fast she ended up tearing off a small amount of skin on my lip. It’s not that bad but it doesn’t feel great. Maybe a little slower would be better…

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I have been going here for a few years now, and since they have remodled, I love it even more. I have had several different techs and all of them have been wonderful! They do the best pedi ever, very relaxing, they really take their time and get the job done and the polish and design lasts a long time! It is very clean as well, I also get my eyebrows waxed there and love that they do exactly what I ask. GREAT job VIP!!!

I found VIP Nails as I was searching for a place to take my Mommy last Sunday for an early Mother’s Day treat! Seeing as they were one of the only places open on Sundays (according to the interweb anyway) and they had good reviews (and the most of any other place listed to boot) I figured they’d be worth a shot … and boy were they ever! I told my Mum as we were still in the pedicure chairs that I was going to give them a ringing endorsement as soon as my nails dried, but being the distractible gal that I am it ended up taking me a few days before I remembered to do so. When I finally did remember, my mani was still going strong and so I figured I’d wait to see just how long it lasted so I could add that fact to my list of kudos. The final verdict, a FULL FIVE DAYS (and my Mom didn’t take hers off until Friday either)! I’ve never had a mani last that long! So longevity aside, this place rocked for numerous other reasons … the place as HUGE (we were told they recently remodeled and that included an invasion of the storefront next door), adorably done up (I couldn’t stop staring at the funky little chandelier in the pedicure room) and very, VERY clean! The chairs were all new and über comfy (the back massagers were a gift from above after a long day of yard work the day before). The staff was incredibly friendly, offering us something to drink when we arrived, making conversation (without butting into our own conversations), and helping us with our purses when we were done. After our experience here I wouldn’t go anywhere else (while in Michigan anyway … living in Chicago I may have to find my own haunt in these parts but they’re going to have some tough standards to live up to).

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I waited half an hour to be worked on but wasn’t made aware of the wait before hand. That being said, they were VERY polite and apologetic about the wait. The place is spotless, everyone there is so nice and I FINALLY have a set of nails that I love! I will be back. I will make an appointment next time. Lilly is my new nail woman!

This is my new nail salon! The pedi was very relaxing and the quality was great! Their massage chairs actually worked, too, as I’ve been to a few places they don’t. I got a shellac mani, Lily was the technician who did both the mani and pedi, she is AWESOME! I wasn’t sure about the color of the shellac when she was applying the last coat, she completely redid all my nails and helped me figure out what color looked best. I will DEFINITELY be staying here as a client! Also, the salon is kept very clean, and Lily was constantly sanitizing the tools she was using during the pedi, very reassuring!

I noticed that there was a new nail salon open in this strip mall with a welcoming banner!
My friend and I were already at the Starbucks next door and wanted to have a relaxing Sunday so we popped in for a quick mani pedi!
First of all, I’m so happy to see this mall being filled up with a variety of new businesses!
The interior is quite nice, they have the pedi and mani rooms separated which some places don’t do, and it made the whole experience a lot more relaxing!
The woman who took care of my nails was friendly and did an excellent job on my nails and took care of my requests for a nail a design I wanted at no extra charge!
My friend commented that the woman who took care of her pedicure was also very friendly and really seemed to do a whole hearted job!
Recommend this place to everyone!

The staff is so friendly! I brought my newborn baby with hoping to get a mani & pedi in before she woke up. That did not go as planned. Thanks to Tina and a few others they helped hold her and worked with me so that I could get everything done! She even held her while my nails dried, so they didn’t get smudged. I love their remodel, everything is so clean, modern & relaxing!

I have been going to VIP for more than 6 years. All the ladies are nice and the place is clean and the service is good. My favorite technicians are Tina, Lynn, or Wynn for manicures and pedicures or Kenny when I was still getting acrylics. You can make an appointment and they actually have the person ready for you when you get there. I know have my mom, sister, and friends from work hooked on VIP as wel.

My friend brought me here, because it is the only place she ever gets her nails done and now I know why. It is sooo clean, and the women are so friendly! I was very impressed and comforted by their sanitation techniques. They have 12 color options for shellac, and they are the best I’ve seen! It lasts so long. The chairs are comfortable too, which is great since you spend a good 30 min in it not moving. Overall, I was super satisfied!
