My family and I have been wanting to try this pizza for a long time. We went in on a Friday at 5pm-​the place was not overly crowded. Our waitress arrived promptly at our table and we gave our full order right away. She offered to give our kids pizza dough which was thoughtful. Then we barely saw her after that. She did not even bring out our pizza-​which was AWFUL-​there was no flavor at ALL. I could have saved my $ and just made a home made pizza at my home with my eyes closed that had better taste. We ordered a large half cheese (shredded mozzarella) and the other half pepperoni. Before our pizza came out I had ordered a Caesar Salad-​there was no dressing to speak of-​it was literally a bowl with a bunch of lettuce… No one came to the table to even clear our dirty dishes away to the point that we actually put the dirty dishes on the table next to us-​and when the hostess went to seat that table-​he just asked if those were our dirty dishes and I told him yes our server had not been by at ALL to collect them– we did not get a sorry from the hostess nor did our server ever return– we had to flag her down to even get our check so we could finally leave this sorry excuse of a pizza place. This is actually my very FIRST Unilocal review I felt it was that BAD that it needed to be shared.

A solid pizza joint. Everything is fresh. The pizza was great, and the chicken wings were better than at restaurants that fried them. We also ordered the Garlic knots, which were warm and soft on the inside, garlicky on the outside. The only weakness in the meal was that the meatballs were a bit over-​done and could have had more sauce. A great deal for the money, and we will come back.

If you find yourself starving after a Notre Dame home football game, and you’re heading back to Cleveland, this great little pizza place is right on the way! We stopped in absolutely ravenous and thirsty. We gobbled up the house salad, and I devoured the veggie pizza while my husband had the pepperoni. It was a great atmosphere, excellent service and plenty of TV’s for the sports lovers. We’ll be back after the next home ND game :)

Excellent pizza! Can’t wait to go back!!!

We were all starving for pizza and decided to give Tony Sacco’s a try. We are always on the look out for awesome pizza and have been wanting to check this place out for quite some time now.
We walked in and they were pretty busy for a Friday night. We were told it would be a 20 min wait. Since the kids were starving I asked if we could sit on the patio (even though it was pretty cold) and we were taken right out to a table.
Our server was really nice and greeted us promptly. After taking our drink order he even offered to turn on the heaters for the patio. What a seriously sweet feature. Once the overhead heaters were on… we forgot about the evening chill.
We got some sort of rolls and a caesar salad for an appetizer. The rolls were super oily… but filled our famished belly’s just enough to avoid a melt down :) The caesar salad was really good and we wished we had ordered more.
The pizza selection was interesting and varied. We wanted to try some specialty pizzas so we got one that was described basically like a lasagna (ricotta cheese, italian meatballs, etc) and we got another that was hawaiian-​ish with ham, bacon, and pineapple. The lasagna one was sort of bland. Once we added some salt and red pepper flakes though it was pretty good. The Hawaiian was a favorite. The bacon flavor popped through and the pineapple really balanced it out with a not too sweet and not too sour finish :)
The best part (at least according to my husband) was the awesome beer selection. We each got a Zombie Dust on tap… which never happens… and he tried a couple others they had on the menu as well.
Overall it was an impressive and enjoyable experience. We will be back again I’m sure!

Thin cracker like crust, fresh topping, and that coal fired oven really makes a difference. And the beer list? Something for everybody.

Came here again. Love their pizza. First, we called to make sure it’s not busy. They said «No were not.» When I came in the restaurant was busy. It was a Thursday which means it’s busy and can’t make reservations. What’s lame is they opened the outside and… No one gone out there. My guess to you is… ITS WARM! MAKE IT OPEN! When we got served. We got our drinks then the appetizer. We ordered our pizzas. Then our pizzas came out about 35 minutes. It was served! The pizzas! I ate a couple of slices then quoted the eating until tonight. It was good though! When we walked out. There was someone out side eating! What?! Who put them there! But it was almost a 2! «It’s not COLD! Why did you put them outside! AUGH!!! I’m raging now!»

Tonight we had wonderful meatball lollipops that were so good I could have made a meal of them and would have been very happy. The pizza was super like every time before. Keep up the good work.

This was my first time at Tony Socco’s. This was not our first choice but the nearby restaurants had long waits. The girl at the front door welcomed us and asked if we would sit at a table in the bar. We sat down and the server came quickly. They have a wide variety of beers… but we were bummed they were out of Zombie Dust. I was happy with the beer we decided on.
We ordered the BBQ pizza to share. The medium size pizza was a good size for two people to share. The pizza was ok but very dry and a little over done. Our server never came back to ask us how it was or offer another beer. We asked for a box for leftovers and the check. We waited at least 20 mins for the server to return. He was busy refilling drinks at the bar.
Overall– I’m not sure I will return but if I did I would order a salad or sandwich. Upside– they have Zombie Dust on the beer menu! It might be a good place to just have a beer.

The Chicken Barbeque is easily my favorite, but all the pizzas are good. Half price Thursday is crowded, but worth it if you’re on a budget.
Friendly and helpful staff.

My husband and I had dinner here for the first time last Friday evening. We had about a 20 minute wait before being seated in the bar. The manager and staff were friendly and helpful. That bar was comfortable, the pizza was tasty and the beer selection and pricing was excellent. All and all, our dining experience was very good. One caveat, the dining room was open and noisy with no booths. It was fairly early (about 7) when we were there and it was full of families with young children. So if you are looking for a relaxing venue, either sit in the bar or come later in the evening.

Good happy hour experience. The vibe was bright and cheery and the staff was upbeat. The manager came out and checked in with customers. And the pizza was amazing. We had the Capo and were very happy with our order. I’d recommend it.
