Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

You get what you pay for here. Would I ever stay here ever again? No. It’s a cheap hotel with low maintenance. So come here having low expectations. It was my first ever experience with Econo and I didn’t think it would have turned out like this.
The surrounding area is super scary, felt like I would get shot as soon as I left the parking lot. The front desk lady was behind one of those glass counters and right away I knew I was in a bad area. What sucks for these guys is that customers smoke in the non-​smoking rooms and a lot of people sneaking in weed and stuff and smoking it in the rooms. It’s annoying for the business and I feel bad for them.
However, I booked a non-​smoking room and it smelled like fresh cigarettes. It is still their fault for not freshening up the room and if they failed to do so, then don’t offer it to a non-​smoking party. I did go tell the front desk lady and she switched us right away. The second room did not smell like cigarettes but it still had a stench to it. Besides that, the bed was not comfortable and the room was just not to my liking. Within 2 hours, I knew I made a mistake booking this hotel just to save money… but it was too late to change and we already paid.

Priceline says they are per friendly. But only friendly to support animals and only if you can produce all your paperwork. Which didn’t seem very friendly to us. Avoid if at all possible. Especially if you’re booking it as a pet friendly hotel.

Do not come here. Do not book on any hotel sites. We booked at 8 pm arrived at 2 am for our reservation and were told our room was given away because we did not show up by 4. (Physically impossible) the concierge rudely offered us the lobby couches and told us absolutely no refunds. Pathetic. Would leave zero stars if possible.

Seriously not good. We booked 2 rooms on Hotwire and we weren’t allowed to stay because it was all booked up. Took our money and didn’t give us anything back. Super huge dickhead running the front counter told us we could sleep on the lobby couch. Waste of space. Terrible business.
